Craig Hemke – Gold & Silver Start The Week Strong, Silver CoT Report Analysis
Craig Hemke, Editor of TF Metals Report joins us to discuss the strong moves in gold and silver to kick off this week. Gold has moved back to nearly $2,700, and silver has climbed to over $32. Craig attributes the rally primarily to recent announcements from China, including resumed gold purchases and accommodative monetary policies for 2025 and beyond.
We also look at the recent Commitment of Trader (CoT) reports to discuss the potential of any short squeezes and general interest in the silver sector. Craig then provides a technical analysis of silver and gold stocks, highlighting key levels to watch and the importance of upcoming annual close in silver.
Would love to hear Chris Ritchie’s synopsis of the Coeur deal, even if after the acquisition. My disappointment, shareholders should have benefitted from the metals held in reserve. It’s sad, a 27 year Albatross is what Coeur has been to its shareholders and the industry. I just thoughtCEO Eric Fier was more prudent all along, until this letdown, and why had we not heard about any drilling results the last 18 months. Prayin for a metals run up into March when the deal is set to be consummated
