Joel Elconin – Weekly Market Recap: Rate Cuts, Recession, Etc, What Does This Market Have Priced In?
Joel Elconin, Co-Host of the Benzinga PreMarket Prep Show and Editor of PreMarket Prep joins us for a week ending market recap. We explore the ongoing market rebound, with the S&P nearing all-time highs and volatility decreasing. Joel shares his insights on the recent ‘buy the dip’ opportunities and offers advice on managing portfolios amidst the fluctuating market. We also delve into recent earnings reports, commodities like gold and silver, and the volatile oil and natural gas markets.
While everyone is looking ahead trying to predict the extent of Fed rate cuts starting in September, a recession by early next year, and where currencies, especially the Yen are heading Joel thinks these markets are so reactive right now they are not pricing anything long term in.

All good Lakedweller2 – happy to share info or perspectives that may be helpful.

Physical paper PMs doing ok. Juniors being intervened in same as usual. Still going nowhere. Maybe better at close.
