Joel Elconin, Co-Host of the Benzinga PreMarket Prep Show and Editor of the PreMarket Prep website joins me to recap market moves this week. Weakness to begin this week in markets but throughout most of the trading days the weakness was bought. Now the S&P is only a couple points away from all time-highs (the S&P has hit all time-highs since posting) and looking to close the week on a strong note. Lead mostly by tech and the continued AI narrative.
Looking to a couple other sectors in the news, regional banks announced earnings this week, Tesla is having issues after more news has come out of Asia on the strength of that country’s EV producers, and Bitcoin continues to drop after the ETF approval.
