Ian Harris, CEO of Libero Copper & Gold (TSX.V:LBC – OTCQB:LBCMF) joins us to update investors work activity at each of their 3 Projects for the balance of 2022. We start off with the news released May 31st that announced their geological team has mobilized to kick-off the field season at the Big Red project located 70 kilometers north-northwest of the Galore Creek deposit in the golden triangle of northwest British Columbia, Canada. In addition, Libero Copper has completed the interpretation of the detailed airborne magnetic and radiometric survey data over the Terry porphyry Cu-Au discovery area.
Next we discussed the ongoing social license and environmental work at the Mocoa Project in Colombia, and the new announced June 1st, that it has entered a framework cooperation agreement with the Technological Institute of Putumayo, the first such agreement with a private company in Colombia. The first associate project is a three-part program between Libero Copper, ITP, and the National University of Colombia (“UNC”), to jointly begin water quality baseline studies starting in June 2022.
We wrap up with getting an update on the permitting process at the Esperanza Project in Argentina, and the direction being signaled by the government for their EIAs and other permits to progress further and get work going on the project in the near future.
