Erik Wetterling – Building Up Positions In Companies With A Portfolio Of Projects That Are Garnering No Value Currently
Erik Wetterling, Founder and Editor of the Hedgeless Horseman website joins us to share his view on precious metals junior stocks. Erik continues to see value in juniors across the board but especially in those with multiple projects that are garnering no value from investors. This strategy is very much to accumulate equities ahead of a true bull market where all the stocks are rising on the back of higher metals prices. We have higher gold and silver prices but the stocks are still lagging, especially the juniors.
Much appreciated aghead. Yes, it is always fun and insightful hearing the Hedgeless Horseman’s thoughts.
Yes, fertilizer stocks are getting more interest and discussion again lately as the sodt commodities have really taken off with inflation. People gotta eat, and food crops need fertilizer.
HL has been dealing with the same important resistance for a week so today’s action is no surprise considering the pressure on the stock market and CDE getting hit so hard.

All silver stocks will perform much better when silver itself finally confirms gold.
This is not November and it’s not January. The picture is now much better. Silver won’t be stopped again.

Matthew thanks for the encouraging thoughts on Silver.
IPT is still up 23% since bottoming a few weeks ago. Today, it ran into some fork and Bollinger band resistance but remains bullish, even short term.

By the way, GDX bottomed on the same day as IPT and is now up 21%. At best, GDX was up 21.6% while IPT was up 27.8%. When silver finally does what’s needed, IPT will quickly and easily move way ahead of GDX.
Finish the week at .54 and it will be set to head for the important .70 to .72 zone.

Matthew – Good thoughts and charts on the typical outperformance of IPT. It is currently my most heavily weighted Silver stock.
IPT is only second now to Brixton. I bought a crap load over the past few months. Looking forward to the ride.
Matthew, now your talking.
You only have to pick up an annual chart on hl or ipt and a host of others to see how abysmal their perfomance including this most recent gold runup. And yes, yes, yes. They will do better whenever silver decides to get an erection and outperform.
Also silver has always served as the accelerant with a general rise in precious metal stocks more so than gold.
There’s nothing scientific about this.
You think you’re proving something by pointing out the abysmal performance during the whole correction? You’re ridiculous. Since when is it news that gold miners hold up better than silver miners and juniors during a correction? Did you know you should sell strength because of that inevitability?
You sure whine a lot for someone who is suddenly so self-assured about the way things work. Lol
Hi Matthew, what do you think about Canadian mining shares now that Justin Castreau has stopped hiding that he is a communist tyrant? Fortunately I sold some Shell@56 last week and all of my Pfizer yesterday @50.29 which I bought long ago@23. The Shell I bought in 1981@5.5. So now I have some cash to buy more junior miners. So many good choices it’s hard to choose which to buy.
Hi Bonzo, for now, I think Canada mining is still safe. Trudy has other things to satisfy his meddling urges.
Mexico is also still good for the most part. Impact Silver is among the least risky politically due to its position as the largest employer of a remote town and its long smooth relationship with the Mexican government as well as its employees. I can’t think of a single time in the 15 years that I’ve traded it in which the workers and management had a conflict.
Aside from politics, Impact has never been more appealing or in better financial shape.
Of course there might be things that I am completely unaware of so take my opinions with a grain of salt. Due to the scamdemic, political risks are greater everywhere.
Thanks, Matthew. I am not selling my Canadian mining shares , but I am thinking maybe I should buy more miners in Finland, Japan, and Fiji which seem to have less political risk and exciting prospects.
I’ll look at Impact but I already have several miners in Mexico. I feel so good to be out of Pfizer which has become more evil than Monsanto ever was. Did you hear the interview with Ed Dowd who thinks PFE will be another Enron? He used to be at Blackrock and managed a 14 billion dollar fund. He sounded very convincing to me. He was very interesting about the jabs in general as well as PFE in particular.
Bonzo, I have not heard that interview but I bet he’s right. I wouldn’t touch that steaming pile of… criminality. 💩
Ed Dowd was interview by Steve Bannon which was on the naturalnews.com site several days ago, and yesterday Dowd did another longer interview on mercola.com. It will be there till midnight tonight when it will disappear. It is well worth your time.
Thanks, I’ll listen to it!
Matthew, the Bannon interview was less than 10 minutes. Ed Dowd’s interview on Mercola.com was 58 minutes and is much better, but you need to listen tonight before it is removed.
Got it; thanks.
It is not healthy that gold has moved nicely and silver struggles. Also, the PM stocks continue to yawn. Purchased some BCM today. Beware the “Ides of March”.
you better hope Matthew doesn’t read that post doc, . LOL
He’ll remind you of what happened in 2014 or thereabouts. We all have our stories.
Yup one step at a time.
Don’t forget every year since 2014 and 2013 as well. Some people never learn.
Well, well, FB has fallen right to the arrow/target that I posted weeks ago:

It is now very overbought as well so a good bounce is a risk for those who are short.
Basil …. for GOLD………… JPManipulation… Silver………….. humm……. wonder why silver is stalled…
Hi Jerry …. Old’y but Good’y
Hello Irish……… just got back…… LOL………. that is a good one….
Here’s a good listen from Jarrid Dillian: https://www.zerohedge.com/markets/daily-briefing-there-no-gold-gold
Anybody buying CDE at this juncture. Sure is tempting. I’m thinking of selling my SILJ which has a small loss and converting to CDE. Any thoughts? CDE has a history of really running when silver takes off.
Silverdollar
If I owned it, wouldn’t trade SILJ for CDE right now. I’d probably sell a short term, near the money option strangle on your SILJ and collect some nice premiums.
You could use that premium money to buy some cheap juniors if you want.
Silver, I bought a little CDE yesterday and it got “clocked” today. In all probability it’s going to go lower and then I’ll get serious in my purchases.
Silverdollar – I mentioned on yesterday’s blog picking up some CDE this morning at $4.51.
FREAKY FRIDAY ……….. again………….
Thanks to Terry, Doc and Ex for their comments on my question about CDE. Appreciate the thoughts.
Thx for the interview . Erik is always a good listen
