Metalla Royalty and Streaming – The recent royalty acquisition on the Côté Gold Project, including near term cash flow and significant exploration upside
Brett Heath, President and CEO of Metalla Royalty and Streaming (TSX.V:MTA – NYSE:MTA) joins us to recap the recent royalty acquisition on a portion of the Côté Gold Project and all of the Gosselin Project. IAMGOLD and Sumitomo Metal Mining began the US$1.3billion mine build back in 2020 with commercial production estimated in the second half of 2023.
We discuss with Brett the portion of the Côté Gold Project resource that the royalty covers which is the near term cash flow aspect of this transaction. The major upside of this transaction is the Gosselin Project which is being explored currently and a resource estimate is expected shortly.
