Starting a discussion to balance the bullish narrative around the EV and green energy push
Brian Leni, Founder and Editor of The Junior Stock Review kicks off our Editorials today by providing an introduction to his recent research into the global initiative to move to net zero carbon emissions by 2050. While it’s been a huge trend for certain resource sectors we are starting the discussion about some data that is not being considered. Please let me know what aspects of the EV/clean energy move that you think are important. My email is Fleck@kereport.com.

Green technology uses for Silver in Solar and EVs add to metal’s elevated demand
Stockhead – 11 hours ago | Mike Cooper
“Silver’s use in a range of green technologies such as solar power generation and EVs plus its medical applications is creating huge new waves of demand for the white metal on top of rising levels of bullion and investment interest.”
Excelsior – while it isn’t a heavy user film photography is back and especially B&W photography – so silver has another use. Kodak has even brought back the much loved Tri-X Pan 400 film. Them plus Fuji, Ilford, Rollei (used to be Agfa) and others are all on a roll (pun intended!). You can even buy the old Italian Ferrania film much beloved by Fellini when they get around to making another batch!
Hi Mike – That is a good thing for Silver that traditional photography is on a “roll.” 🙂
The industrial supply components for Silver are all over the place from the technology we use in our daily lives (computers, phones, tablets, etc…), to EVs, Solar Panels, in medicine, in water filtration, etc…. As the developing world continues to electrify, the narrative is usually around how much more Copper the world will need; but the world will also need substantially more Silver. That demand will only continue to grow.
Ever Upward!
Speaking of Silver….
