The Cayman Islands are a British Protectorate, which I do not think get any aid money from anyone.
I don’t see much leverage to force Cayman Banks to give up information.
(Especially as British M.P.s probably use the Caymans as a tax haven.)
Unlike the U.S. the U.K. does not tax world-wide income with income tax, which is why the Channel Islands and lots of ex-British colonies are tax havens.

I was having dinner the other night while Kathy was attending a function with a friend and a mutual friend of ours came out of the social event and came over to where Mike and I were sitting and began to talk in an angry and aggressive manner with Mike about Trump. He said “Do you support him at all ” and my friend Mike (yest another one} said that he had not made up his mind yet and finished the sentence with “are we still friends” and the Mike who came over very aggressively almost screamed “not in the area of Trump”

It has not been discussed in terms of Democrat majority, but in terms of coping with loan and debt defaults.
As you know the public service pension system is in serious trouble, as are many individual cities. Without a Federal bail-out (which is unlikely) not only will many pensions have to be cut, but many loans can only be serviced by raising taxes further.
With property tax hikes limited by law, any significant economic turn-down will cause defaults.
Californian cities are already diverting new bond income to pay for the carry cost of existing bonds. (e.g. Some of the billions raised by issuance of bonds for the high-speed rail have already been diverted to pay interest of earlier bonds.)

It has been demonstrated that Assange could not have hacked and down-loaded the Clinton emails and DNC stuff over the internet, because the download speed exceeded anything possible over the internet. Likewise the Russians could not have given them to Assange.

I am not personally sure that it will stand up over decades, but that goes for rusty steel barriers also.
