First Cobalt – Updates on the refinery startup and answering your questions
On the back of the First Cobalt (TSX.V:FCC & OTCQX:FTSSF) interview that focused on the eventual restart of the Company’s cobalt refinery in Ontario there were some good questions that you all sent me. I reached out to Trent Mell, President and CEO of First Cobalt to get some more color on the cobalt market and how the refinery has to operate to generate cash flow. We also discuss the growth opportunities in terms of expanding the refinery.
Ok I just bought a small position in HL. It’s not much, but I have a stake now.

THe HUI closed at the low, basically. It might gap down hard tomorrow to hit the lower BB on the daily chart. Would take it to 146ish.
SIL has been absolutely destroyed. It also closed on the low. It is barely above its Nov. low. It also looks set to gap down tomorrow morning. What an absolute dud. Almost as miserable as HL.
If someone can clue me in on why the miners are being punished like this, I would love to hear it. Not only have many of them destroyed the excellent technical picture of the last 6 months in a matter of weeks, they are basically waterfalling.
This looks and feels a lot like 2013, when GDX broke below its 200 WMA, made a back test that exceeded that MA and then proceeded to plummet into the depths of hell for 3 years. We will only know in hindsight. I reckon $gold is going to send a message within days about its fate.

WOW. HL is actually hitting its trendline formed off the 2008 and 2016 lows today!
I said it would be worth a gamble at the $1.75 level. If I had any investable funds, I would take a stab at it. Why not! Wow. lol.
