SSR Mining – Overview of Production and Exploration Results and Guidance
SSR Mining (TSX & NASDAQ : SSRM) has been a standout company in terms of meeting and exceeding production guidance. The stock has preformed very well this year on the back of these solid numbers. David Wiens, Director of Corporate Finance joined me for a overview of the Company. We discuss how the Company continues to grow production and keep costs low. On top of that exploration work has been very successful at replacing the ounces mined with new ounces around exiting deposits.
I wanted to bring David on for this general overview and to get all of your thoughts. Please comment or email me (Fleck@kereport.com) with any insights or questions you would like us to follow up on.

Cory, please interview David Harquil of FNV and ask him why he sold over 100000 shares of FNV last week.
Happy New Year to all at KEREPORT!
I’m gonna guess his sale is a consequence of FNV HAVING expanded into the energy business the last number of years if I from recall an interview from Boca Raton 2017
Awful action in $CDNX on the daily chart. Even if it manages to bounce in the near term, it is most likely just setting up a lower low weeks or months later. I strongly suspect the junior miners will be under pressure/will underperform the majors until $CDNX finds its low. What a nightmare 2018 has been for that index.
looking at the daily chart, it looks like it is set up to rally back to at least to the (rapidly declining) 50 dma in the near term. I suppose it’s possible the near term low will mark the absolute low, but a test of the 2016 low is going to be tempting for the bears.
Let’s hope that the junior miners can play catch up to the majors when $CDNX makes its (dead cat?) bounce.
Most of my silver miners have looked pretty awful vs silver since the low in silver, at least on a risk-adjusted basis. The last couple of days have been particularly poor. The window of opportunity in these miners is so narrow it makes them virtually impossible to trade
If the USD were to start a massive decline here, it’s possible that it could muscle commodities and PM-related stocks higher.
Next key support for the Dollar 95.70-95.80
It’s clear as day that GDX has put in a major low vs the Dow. That being said, the ratio is overbought in the short run and is due to consolidate. Any rally in the Dow is an opportunity to dump positions and go long GDX. I’m sure many institutional investors are thinking the same thing now.
JPM fined $135 million in an ADR SCAM they concocted. Total fines for all DA BOYZ since 2007 approaching $70 billion
Correction : More than $270 billion in fines & penalties, . That’s why The FED ( the Robert Duval character in the ” GODFATHER ” ) Marlon JPM Brando -The Godfather, and Pacino, the GOLDMAN SACKS eldest son, who can do no harm doing the lord Lucifer’s work.
