Owl……..Glad to see that you have your eyes open, and the spirit must be leading you in the right direction…….Stay strong in the LORD, not unto MAN.
It had better be a “game changer” Jay Linn
OOTB Jerry Yes, I believe that the Holy Spirit is currently leading me. “Stay strong in the Lord, not unto Man. God bless you OOTB

Francis is a communist. He must go or nothing will change.
Time will tell Eddy.
Yes he is, Ebolan, but I doubt anything will change whether he leaves or not.
Morning Matthew, I firmly believe that this time is has to change.
Mr. Matthew,
“Reigious people are human beings, human beings are crooks.”
Redd Foxx
🙂 🙁
And I heard that Redd Foxx was once a minister.
BA, I think you are making a wise decision. I like the Lutheran denomination. You might find like-minded ex-catholics there.
Johnnygeneric, Probably will.
I wonder how much the movie “spotlight” helped to expose the church.
I saw the movie; enjoyed it; and I don’t believe that it make much of a difference at the time. With the environment surrounding the Church now, I think that ore people will definitely stop and think especially people like myself.

Thanks for the link Matthew
Pax vobiscum.
And, of course, peace be with you, Professor.
I believe that for peace to exist in the Catholic Church now the changes that I discussed in my op ed must take place.
The Church will either evolve into something good or it will not be a part of my life.
My philosophy, as a Christian, is really simple and that is to love all people and to love God. I cannot love the members of the Catholic Clergy who have committed these sins. I have to simply turn them over to my God for His judgement.
The Catholic Church is going more in for over 1000 years. It has nothing to do with Jesus. It’s just a money machine
It’s not just the money, Chris; it’s also all about power and pedophilia and has been since the Middle Ages. Martin Luther got that right.
It is a money machine, Chris, there is no doubt about that.
One point to remember is that, as an example, in Washington state it does provide more dollars to the needy than any organization other than the Federal government.
It is tremendous faults as exemplified by the inaction towards the guilty clergy in Pennsylvania, but some good points still remain.
These positive points do not change my current opinion though.
Change “is” to “has”
Danielle DiMartino Booth on USAWatchdog, discussing trade:
I interviewed Michael Stumo of The Coalition for a Prosperous America yesterday for the Weekend Show. I will listen to what Danielle has to say and then possibly post Michael’s comments today as a preview. Remember my philosophy is to listen to all people.
Al,
I think you’ve made a good choice. All you have to do is research Vatican symbolism and banking, and it all becomes clear.
What’s happening with the Catholic Church is just one piece of the great awakening going on in the world.
Charster, I pray that your “great awakening” is positive.
Dear Al,
I regularly visit the Korelin Economics site, but I think I’ve only posted once or twice.
I do understand your anguish over the tragic as well as criminal situation regarding many—certainly not most—catholic priests and many—not most—in the Roman Catholic Hierarchy who ignored or, in some cases were directly involved in criminal sexual conduct.
You mentioned that you want to take action by attending a Lutheran Church. Whereas the Lutheran Church has dealt with the clergy sex abuse situation decades ago and have an excellent system of background checks, the Lutheran Church in North America has its own set of spiritual problems.
If you have found a good local Lutheran Church, great! If not, please realize the extreme anguish that good, faithful, obedient catholic priests are under. They are faithfully doing their duty to God and their beloved Church and sadly stand under unfair suspicion. These priests are good shepherds of their flock and I wish them and their congregations well and I hope that catholic parishioners stay with them.
Blessings,
Rev. Brad Jenson
Thank you Rev.
Regarding my future attendance at Catholic Masses, I will not be attending simply because I need to take personal action to make my point. It is certainly feasible for the Church to change its policy on this issue perhaps in the direction that you stated the Lutherans have taken.
As a, hopefully, practicing Christian, my attempted lifestyle is very simple. I firmly believe in the “Proclamation of the Kingdom” Jesus said to “Love God” and “Love Other People” He also said to “shake the dust from your sandals when leaving those who did not welcome you. That implies to let God be the final judge.
God will certainly judge the Clergy who are sinners.
if the Church takes action against the sinners, I will certainly return.
I would welcome the opportunity to chat with you. If you like, please send me an e-mail (alkorelin@gmail.com) with your telephone number and I will give you a call.
From what I read………..ride on OWL…………
2 Timothy 2:15 King James Version (KJV)
15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.
This is the fake Catholic church, not the real Catholic church which has been reduced to a remnant.
The fake Catholic church of led by Anti-Pope Poop Francis won’t change as they’re totally infested with these sodomite predators from top to bottom. The problem is homosexuality/sodomy.
That is certainly one way to look at it , John.
My ancestors left the Catholic church centuries ago. Three were puritans on the Mayflower. Another was a French Huguenot who fled France after the revocation of the Edict of Nantes when the Catholics killed his parents and 12 of his siblings. He was the sole survivor and he made his way to England where William Penn gave him land in Lancaster Co., PA. I feel closer to the Druids than to Puritans and Huguenots.
Bonzo, you certainly have an interesting background.
nice that they have regret and feel repentant and sorry for this particular event what about the vast history and their crimes
Terry,
As I have already stated, new and serious have to be put into place before I go back.
Thanks for your input.
Al, I do not think turning pedophile priests over to the law is sufficient. I think the Church should follow the teacings of Jesus. He said that those who would sin against children should have large millstones tied around their necks and then be cast into the sea. That is my favorite Christian doctine and sadly it is not practiced by any denomination that I know of.
Bonzo, It is difficult for me to emotionally disagree with you.
Forgive me for saying something positive about the Catholic church, but I feel this needs to be said, regardless of allegations of child abuse.
In many parts of the U.S. the catholic church provides the ONLY alternative to public schools at a reasonable cost. Not only that, but the education provided, as judged by testing scores and university entrance data, is a good quality education.
I have not had any direct personal experience with catholic schools, other than talking to students in university courses that I have taught. Anecdotally, I found my better students often had been educated in a catholic school. I do not know if that was due to the economic background of the parents producing a non-random sampling, or whether the teaching was more dedicated in catholic schools, but I suspect better teachers, even if at a lower wage structure, and more motivation to learn in the students.
My children are products of Catholic education and the two examples that I can point to show that they received top quality educations which prepared them well for university. Interestingly enough Stephanie’s graduating class at Jesuit High School only had one student who did not go on upon graduation to a university. The one student who did not go on joined the military service.
Big Al, I would like to invite you and your wife to visit The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (commonly referred to as Mormons)in your area. All are welcome and you may find the visit uplifting. I sure appreciate the content of your character, displayed for so many years and know that as your search your heart of what to do, the Spirit will be your guide, as you probably already have experienced in your life. My best heartfelt wishes for you and your wife are always in my thoughts and prayers, especially as health issues have been difficult as of late.
Thank you Pardu and God bless you and your familly.
Big Al: First of all, I want to thank you and Cory, for all the valuable information that you provide on your website. I have been a reader here for many years, but have never posted a comment until today. Even though I am not a Catholic, I certainly understand why you would be conflicted regarding the tragic incidents which have come to light in recent days. If I could offer any encouragement, it would be to direct you to John 15:5: “I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me, and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing.” I very much look forward to meeting, some day; whether it be in this life, or the next. Be blessed!
Al, you would be more than welcome in the Lutheran church. I am personally exploring my spirituality, my quest started a year ago in the Lutheran church of which I am now a member.
I share your reservations about Pope Francis, it is troubling that he was told about Archbishop Therodore McCarrick and his misdeeds several years ago and did not act strongly enough and now refuses to say one word about it!
Personally, I think that it would be difficult for the catholic church to survive if Pope Francis was excommunicated. It could destroy the faith of many good catholics and perhaps cause a 2nd reformation. But then again, perhaps he will simply resign.
A few thoughts:
1. Hasn’t the Catholic Church’s unacceptable soft attitude on pedophilia been obvious at least since Cardinal Law, who was taken back to Vatican City and put in one of the highest posts in Catholicism?
“Responding to charges that one of his priests sexually assaulted a six-year-old boy, Cardinal Bernard Law asserted that “the boy and his parents contributed to the abuse by being negligent.” Law himself never went to prison for the hundreds of cover-ups he conducted. In 2004, with things getting too hot for him in his Boston archdiocese, Law was rescued by Pope John Paul II to head one of Rome’s major basilicas, where he now lives with diplomatic immunity in palatial luxury on a generous stipend, supervised by no one but a permissive pontiff.”

Protestant, or ‘evangelical’, as they call them, churches in Latin America have been gaining converts from Catholicism for a long time.
What is a Popes’ refusal to take appropriate measures if not a betrayal of their followers, the Catholic Church, and Christ? Is that what recent popes have really been selected to do?
Critical as I am of the Catholic Church, it bears remembering that they were infiltrated by Communist enemies of Christianity and Catholicism almost a century ago.
4. The timing of the Pennsylvania scandal may have been timed to distract from the release of an old, but suppressed, report that revealed horrendous abuses in the international ‘aid’ agencies. As a number of us have pointed out repeated here since the Pizzagate scandal, pedophilia is rampant at the highest levels in the US and globally.
Oops, that posted before I wanted it to, scratch that last post.

“In the early 1950s, she provided detailed explanations of the Communist subversion of the Church, reporting that “in the 1930s we put eleven hundred men into the priesthood in order to destroy the Church from within, [and that] right now they are in the highest places in the Church.” “

Another, this time on the horrors unleashed on Syria by Israel and the US through their proxy terrorist army:
Then there’s Hillary Clinton and her hubby, intervening on behalf of a woman illegally trafficking 33 children out of Haiti:
Not a big surprise considering the sickos around the Clintons that came to light in the run-up to the 2016 eletion — the Podesta brothers, Anthony Weiner.
Or Prince Charles’ buddy Jimmy Savile, who was long known to be ‘problematic’. Does anyone think the Royal Family was unaware of his proclivities?
BBC banned Johnny Rotten in 1978 for telling the truth about Jimmy Savile
Hillary’s partner in destroying Libya, French President Nicolas Sarkozy, intervened on behalf of child traffickers in Chad, much as the Clintons did in Haiti:

Gosh, do you think all these war zones created by the ZioAnglAmerican Empire create fertile ground for abduction of children/people for sex- and organ-trafficking?
Oh, heck, one more. We wouldn’t want to leave out George HW Bush:

Hilly and Billy………..sickos……ditto
Final thought, from what I have seen, the punishment for these crimes, when there is any, tends to be a slap on the wrist.
If we’re not going to opt for tying a millstone around their necks and throw them into the sea, we at least need to make absolutely sure that they can never do it again.
That will be hard, because by all appearances, these crimes go to the top of the global power structure, which certainly includes finance and mass media.
Catherine Austin Fitts explains it as a ‘Control File’ — a system of ensuring absolute control/loyalty of key people in politics and the bureacracy, law enforcement, the media, etc.
Alway a good read at Fitts…………..JMO

One of the few who have the lights one………
A couple of things …
1) Why do people look at “bad behavior” in churches as something unusual? Do “good people” go to church? (Jesus said there are none good, except God alone and Jeremiah said all of our human hearts are “deceitful and desperately wicked”).
2) You would expect an enemy to be at work in the oppositions territory, wouldn’t you? Malachi Martin had a lot to say about Luciferians in the Catholic Church (as did William H. Kennedy … both were likely murdered for it). Check out the following article as an example, “Lucifer’s Lodge: Satanic Ritual Abuse in the Catholic Church”: https://www.tapatalk.com/groups/catholicreformation/lucifer-s-lodge-satanic-ritual-abuse-in-the-cathol-t726.html
3) Catholics are far from being alone in sex scandals, many involving children, see “Haiti: Charged missionary was from church with recent child predator”: https://stopbaptistpredators.blogspot.com/2010/02/haiti-charged-missionary-was-from.html
4) I’ve also heard it said that sociopaths (those without a conscience) often go into either religious work or politics as their preferred professions (although many are also corporate CEO’s … go figure).
Lastly, the only perfect church, if there ever was one, would cease being so should they ever accepted me into their membership.
Unfortunately, we live in a fallen world. It was this reason though, i.e., for the love of it and despite the depths of its ugliness, that the Prince of Peace gave His life for it.
And, for that, I am eternally grateful.
I too am eternally grateful as I am for your comment. God bless.
What happened in Pennsylvania is a shocker. Absolutely! I believe this has to be a game changer for Catholic Church.
