Hi Bob,
He is a good guy who occasionally does get a bit down. Nothing serious.
I had been speculatinf on European grain on the basis of potential problems with Ukraine/Russian crops. Big mistake. With 25% of Ukraine harvested they are running above average in barley and wheat with best harvest in 6 years.
Interesting how Obama repeatedly condemns Israel but hardly a word spoken against Islamic attacks on Christians in Syria or Iraq.
Where are his calls for cease fire in Syria or Iraq and a cessation of killing innocent poipulation?
Where are his calls against Iran and Qatar for funding and supplying Hamas with rockets?
Where are his calls against female mutilation going on in Islamic countries?
Kinda of makes a confirmation of his muslim sympathies, even if he carries a Hindu monkey god idol around in his pocket.
Totally agree with the above CFS. btw have you got round to purchasing ‘The General’s Son’ by Miko Peled? I know you didn’t agree to it but I did buy ‘Son of Hamas’ on your recommendation that I get better informed!!
Great first segment. Chris Martenson articulate as ever. So if the U.S. has no verifiable evidence re Russian culpability over the downed Malaysian airliner, who might have? Such being the world’s satellite military intelligence covering every square meter of earth, could Russia yet spring a trap of some sort?
Glad you didn’t get your guest to pass comments on Gaza! But appreciate his reminding us of the Rubicon crossed (Syria) when the U.S. took to vilifying Putin.
Russia is unquestionably laying an assiduously-planned and carefully-crafted trap. And when that trap is sprung, the U.S. will be revealed for the Naked Emperor that it is.
I would guess that we are already thought of in that light.
You will be interested in hearing my views later to regarding that terrible situation as I spent about 8 hours yesterday getting better informed.
So what’s your message? We are supposed to hate all Muslims? Should we murder them all because of evil from a few?
Bob I don’t get any responses to my messages to CFS – he probably assumes that I’m as much a heretic as your good self! lol.,A
Purely and simply Professor, I do not agree with the man’s policies and if I have him figured out correctly, I fear him.
Repeated condemns … yet repeated funds … lol … no complain here
CFS so America can supply 1000’s of weapons including hundreds of NUCLEAR weapons to the Israeli regime but god forbid someone does to the Palestinian s .. (I don’t think either should have a single bullet but cmon does the hypocrisy know no bounds???)
Jay,
Your evidence of sale of nuclear weapons to Israel by the US would be most interesting. Please.
I am aware that a small amount of nuclear material was made available.
Sale of nuclear weapons, would breach so many treaties, it would be most interesting to have any proof of such.

CFS: USA Watchdog always informative.
But Greg Hunter’s Achilles heel is imo over his take on Gaza and Israel. In his weekly wrap-up GH speaks of Iran’s President Rouhani coming out with ‘the incendiary statement’ when speaking of the ‘festering Zionist tumour’ re-opening. Clarly a growing number are bginning to distinguish between Zionism and Judaism per se. But what is now so hard for Zio-Christians like Hunter is having to face the appalling possibility that post-1948 Israel just might NOT be the place destined by God. Please take seriously how more than a few good rabbis and even ultra-orthodox Jews are adamant that this is the case, while wishing to see the peaceful dismantling of Zionist Israel. Furthermore, President Rouhani seeks the same thing WITHOUT any harm coming to the Jews who live there.
Of course this would take the mightiest miracle imaginable.
But it’s a miracle I’m hoping and praying for.
Call me stark raving mad CFS if you want. But I guess the parting of the Red Sea was another miracle which looked beyond possible! As you’ll know the list of such OT ‘crazy’ miracles is legion.
Great point Reverend!
As you all know we live in Africa and post from the country. Internet is often spotty out here…phone connections are 50/50 at best. The threat of this new disease outbreak has suddenly become a serious concern for our family. We are stepping up precautions over here in the event that Ebola arrives where I live. It is close by now and looks to be spreading. So far my strategy is pretty basic. Just keeping the house stocked so we can avoid going out and avoid contact with other people in public. Keeping plenty of small denominations bills and small coins so that we can avoid touching money (change) that vendors might give us that could potentially be risky. Avoiding taxis altogether and at all costs not going near hospitals, clinics and pharmacies. Maybe that sounds crazy. Not sure the best steps to take. If anybody has good ideas I would sure like to hear them.
Praying for your protection BM, A
Thank you Andrew. I know you mean that.
Take care Bird,
Best wishes to you & the family.
Cheers
Of course I do BM. I compartmentalise my thoughts! Other advice:
(1) Wash your hands with soap and water like you’ve got an obsession.,
(2) The obvious one of not touching any dead or dying body.,
(3) Don’t eat bush-meat,
(4) First sign of anything wrong (violent headache, diarrhoea, you’ll know the others) go to hospital. Caught early Ebola is far more treatable.
Take care, Andrew
AS MENTIONED yesterday……………Ebola is being flown into ATLANTA, via , two sick persons , which were doing good works in Africa……..this should be some concern,,,for the entire world……….
Hello BIRD…..I can fully understand your concern for your family’s health , this Ebola virus is scary . People on the net are talking about the possibly of WW3..but this virus , if it goes global could kill more people than said war…(bar nuclear ) . The world leaders need to act now not next week , or next month , but now. They should get together the worlds foremost viral researchers in one place to work on this , yes I know there are people around the world working on it but you will find they are all probably repeating each others research , that’s why they need to work in the same location so there is no repetition , (as they were doing for years with cancer research ). The UK GOVT. appear to be taking the threat seriously as they had a meeting of “COBRA” to discuss it…..I wish you & your family good health, all I can advise is that you take as many precautions as you can take , & from what you wrote that’s what you are doing……We can only hope & pray that this horrible thing is contained , & that GOD or whoever can give us a cure.
What century do you live in, ‘tony? With the internet to share the necessary information, there is ABSOLUTELY NO NEED to get the researchers “… in one place to work on this” as you suggest. In fact, putting them all in one place would be the WORST possible strategy given the virulence of the disease.
Great comment Mr. Irish! Thank you.
Another consideration is to stay away from all animals unless they can be quarantined. Consider what could happen when an infected person dies outside of a restricted area and there body is mauled by wild or domesticated animals.
Really the only option I would take is to immediately leave Africa come h$ll or high water, can’t you return to Canada. Your life is not negotiable.
Salt is an important provision in a prepper’s larder and one that is often overlooked especially in quantity.
I hope that you have some good neighbors that you can communicate with, without seeing, there are ways to do this with cheap electrical wire in the advent of loss of cell phones. I would recommend going to the internet and checking out survival sites if you haven’t already done this, my sons are into this way of thinking and I could pass some information along to you tomorrow night if you like. DT
good idea on the salt……….dt……..
I MENTIONED YESTERDAY………………..EBOLA COMING TO ATLANTA………, This should have some people concerned in the………….USA………..
Excellent thought DT. Salt is essential and often overlooked. Please do send along any other ideas you have.
Good point Machine Gun.
And, I might add, good advice.
How Do You Get Ebola?
You can get Ebola by coming into contact with the blood or body fluids of an animal or person who is infected.
People often get sick with Ebola when they care for or bury a person who has the disease. Someone also can catch the virus by touching contaminated needles or surfaces
National Geographic interviewed W. Ian Lipkin, an expert in viral diseases and the John Snow Professor of Epidemiology at the Mailman School of Public Health at Columbia University. Lipkin said the virus is not highly transmissable, but the number of people who can be infected by one person is high.
“You have to come into very close contact with blood, organs, or bodily fluids of infected animals, including people,” he said.
Professor Peter Piot, who discovered Ebola, said to The Telegraph that a sense of panic and lack of trust in the West African authorities contributed to the outbreak. Piot said he would not be concerned about being in close proximity of an infected individual.
“I wouldn’t be worried to sit next to someone with Ebola virus on the Tube as long as they don’t vomit on you or something,” Piot said. “This is an infection that requires very close contact.”
The World Health Organization confirms this, explaining that the disease is only obtainable through direct contact.
“Ebola then spreads in the community through human-to-human transmission, with infection resulting from direct contact (through broken skin or mucous membranes) with the blood, secretions, organs or other bodily fluids of infected people, and indirect contact with environments contaminated with such fluids. Burial ceremonies in which mourners have direct contact with the body of the deceased person can also play a role in the transmission of Ebola. Men who have recovered from the disease can still transmit the virus through their semen for up to 7 weeks after recovery from illness.
Thanks for this information bb!
Fruit Bats Are a Dangerous Delicacy in the Region
Fruit bats, which are hunted for food in parts of Africa, are considered to be likely and stealthy carriers of the virus without exhibiting any tell-tale symptoms. While cooking the bats would kill the virus, the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization is urging people to avoid the bats altogether because handling the animal in food preparation could put them in contact with the virus.
“The virus is killed when meat is cooked at a high temperature or heavily smoked, but anyone who handles, skins or butchers an infected wild animal is at risk of contracting the virus,” said the FAO’s chief veterinary officer Juan Lubroth.
What Symptoms Appear When
Symptoms appear anytime between two days and 21 days after infection, meaning that the possible circle of infected bystanders could include a large number of people if the individual doesn’t even know that they are a carrier.
Muscle aches, fevers, headaches, diarrhea, vomiting and overall stomach pain are among the most common symptoms, but some patients also noticed a rash, red eyes, and difficulty breathing or swallowing. Once the infection is in the bloodstream, excessive internal bleeding and the ensuing loss of blood leads to death in the majority of cases.
Fatality rates vary by strand and area, but ranges largely between 50 percent to 90 percent mortality rates.
A number of these symptoms overlap with malaria and cholera, which doctors reportedly guess when first treating the patients, creating a serious delay in the proper treatmentIn order to catch Ebola, you have to touch the bodily fluids (such as sweat, vomit, diarrhea, blood, urine, or semen) of an Ebola patient — dead or alive. Because Ebola can stay alive on a surface for at least several days, you could also get it from touching bedding or other inanimate objects contaminated with those bodily fluids. After that, you would have to get the virus into your body by, for example, touching food and eating it
Don’t know if you had the info I posted or not Bird, so I posted it.
Doesn’t seem to be much out there.
Sounds like the trick is to not have contact with an infected person or animal.
Butcher your own meat.
Don’t touch people.
I guess it spreads so much in Africa due to poor infrastructure, that seems to be the general concensous,
Sounds like the best defense might be inform yourself and use your brains.
All the best to you Bird.
Any info you need and cant find, post, someone here will find it for you Im sure.
Again, thanks for your continuing comments.
It is wonderful that folks on this site really care about eachother!
God bless you all!
I share Reverend’s thoughts.
Sounds like you have made a good start.
Stay safe you are a good guy and an asset to this forum.
How about moving Bird? How is safety out there? Not sure where you are. A matter of that severity would have me thinking get the heck out of africa. Im being 100%truthful and not trying to offend anyone. Family is #1 priority. But stacking up is a wise choice.
Birdman,
I have also been thinking about you and praying for your safety and that of your family.
It sounds like you have good, sound reasoning about limiting the contact with the population around you. Please keep us up to date about the situation.
I also have concern for our population in the US. Ebola is only a plane ride away. I hope the medical staff that are caring for the infected doctor that landed in Atlanta today are also quarantined while they care for him. Too many health care workers have been infected despite all the precautions and protective gear.
Jody D
Many thanks, Jody!
Thanks Jody and all, I really appreciate the thoughts and concerns. The tips and information are very helpful. I am trying to learn what I can as quickly as possible as this disease has just exploded in the last month. Until a couple days ago I really wasn’t giving it any thought to tell the truth. This recent outbreak is really alarming though because the systems in much of Africa are already weak. Isolation seems to be the only good answer and it may be imposed from above anyway. I had heard yesterday that authorities were considering bans on taxis and buses in one of the affected countries. Airport and border closures were also being discussed. The army was being called in to enforce the rules. Not sure which country in West Africa it was though. I saw a heat map showing the illness had been detected in 10 countries but it might have included all historical cases. Still trying to figure out how close it is but last time it was almost literally at the border. Odds are if it reached our area there would be no getting out even if we wanted too. Guess I will just bunker down and hope for the best and that the authorities can get this under control quickly. Honestly, my real worry is not my level of preparedness or how our family might respond. It is all the uncontrollable variables of what others might do if stresses got too high and shops started closing.
Stay safe, Bird!
Thanks Al. We will add a security guard if it gets haywire. How much can you really do though? You could be well stocked for a year but when most around you are empty handed that is not much of a consolation if it gets stressful. These things are in Gods hands. my biggest worry is handling money actually. I suspect it might be one of the vectors as the virus can live so long on surfaces infected people might have touched. With luck it never arrives here though.
Bogus COT Reports
CFTC Charges J.P. Morgan Securities LLC with Repeatedly Submitting Inaccurate Large Trader Reports and Imposes a $650,000 Civil Monetary Penalty
Washington, DC – The U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) today issued an Order filing and simultaneously settling charges against J.P. Morgan Securities LLC (JPMS), a wholly-owned subsidiary of JPMorgan Chase & Co. and a CFTC-registered Futures Commission Merchant (FCM), for submitting inaccurate reports to the CFTC relating to the required reporting of positions held by certain large traders whose accounts are carried by JPMS. The reporting violations occurred despite the CFTC notifying JPMS of numerous errors in its reports. The CFTC Order requires JPMS to pay a $650,000 civil monetary penalty to address its unlawful conduct. Continued…
Hollllly, maybe we should short jpm, where on earth are they going to come up with 6 figures like that :0
Now if they could only bust jpm for murdering their employees / ex employees earlier this year lol
Jay…shorting JPM will not work. They have spent 18 Billion buying their own stock.
http://wallstreetonparade.com/2014/07/jpmorgan-has-spent-18-billion-buying-back-its-own-stock-in-four-years/
Mark I was being sarcastic lol. But nice Link 😉
MARKettofuture….Here we go , JPM caught committing fraud again , of course they (jpm) will claim it was a computer error….haha…..& what punishment do they get , a paltry $650,000 fine , you can bet that will some how come out of their customers account , not their in-house account….but then I suppose it was a good thing seen as it was a civil penalty….Had it have gone through a legal court case , they may gave just walked away with a slap on the wrist & a $1 fine & told not to do it again……..Where’s that dammed “KRYPTONITE”.
Lots of luck even trying to find The House Of Morgan, they have a new receptionist his name is Pinocchio, excuse me is this “The House Of Morgan”, why no sir it is just around the corner at 666 main street.
Jay & Tony last week it was CME wash trades. http://wallstreetonparade.com/2014/07/lawsuit-stunner-half-of-futures-trades-in-chicago-are-illegal-wash-trades/
Maybe they are trying to make it appear things are being cleaned up. Think of the $billions, the phony COT reports produced for the banksters. 650K is a drop in the bucket.
Found this posted on Ed Steers column today. Definitely a MUST READ

there should be at least …………10 more zeros to the number…….then it might be a fair settlement……….then again…where in the heck does the money go to………..
Off-message Irish Tony. Did you know that this August is one that occurs every 823 years, given that there are five Fridays, five Saturdays and five Sundays. Read somewhere that the Chinese consider such a year auspicious for silver….but don’t hold me to that! Best, A
Andrew….Hello how are you & the family keeping ? That’s news to me , as I am not a superstitious person I will take it with a grain of salt…..Although having said that , silver seems to be holding its own , & I am still as bullish as ever silver……Enjoy your weekend.
Thanks Irish we’re all well, although my wife wishes I’d back off about Gaza – probably right ….not good for the BP! Best to you and yours also, Andrew
Urban legend, ‘Rev. The next occurrence is in 2025, a mere 11 years away. It’s also an urban legend that the Chinese have no sense of humour, as you’ve now learned.

Ukrainian rebels don’t have the technology to launch a missile to hit a plane 30000 feet in the sky. Putin/Russia gave it to them and the rebels made a mistake. They didn’t intend to hit a commercial plane but they did. It was a mistake.
Martenson said there was no evidence, but here is a piece. A photo of a rebel posing in front of a BUK missile launcher.
That seems the likeliest explanation PF. But I’m starting to hate the Daily Mail for always assuming it’s in command of the truth and nothing but the truth.
Thanks PF.
As the Daily Mail said; however, it is not verifiable that this is the one.
What a frigging mess this world is turning into!
The world has ALWAYS been a “mess”, ‘Al, it’s just that the internet has made the “mess” instantly available for everyone’s consumption and entertainment. But take heart, so far there isn’t a reality TV show called “Lindsay Lohan’s Greatest Courtroom Appearances”. Be thankful for small favours.
That’s great Dallas!
Thank you Mr Miller.
Al
I disagree with Martin Armstrong’s view of the Dow. This is what he sees:
http://i1.wp.com/armstrongeconomics.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/08/DJIND-M-8-1-2014.jpg
His bottom line is a little off………..
Matthew how you doing? I can understand the Dow chart but I’m useless when it comes to all the other squiggles. Just keep me reassuring me with you usual updates!! Best wishes, Andrew
Hi Andrew, always feel free to ask about any squiggles. I’ll do my best to clarify. On the Dow chart, the blue and dashed blue lines represent support/resistance. I have just changed the current uptrend support line to green. It has been broken and needs to recover by the end of August to avoid further downside. The dashed red line with arrow is simply what I think could be the path of future price action. Best wishes to you, Matthew
As I told Bird in an earlier comment Matthew. You are a real asset to our forum. Thanks for that!
Al I echo that. Matt has skills..
I have gut instincts :)-
And both are important!
AL ? ?
Sorry Franky,
I don’t understand.
Okay, I see where you are going.
Here is an interesting video on testing silver coins for content and authenticity. With all the fakes floating around this chemical test might become a little more popular. Not sure if anyone is doing this but let us know how it works if you do.

On the eve of the 100th anniversary of WW 1and on what, God forbid, could be the eve of WW 3 there are many Bible verses on ‘PEACE’. One I especially love is from Isaiah 26, v 3:
‘Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on Thee’ (KJV).
Plagues, wars, rumours of wars, famine – they are all horrific spectres that beset broken humanity. As for the Jewish community here in Britain they are feeling especially depressed and uneasy. Maybe I have a future ministry to stand up for them here, when ignorant people choose not to distinguish between them and the extremists. Jews, Christians, Muslims – so many of them are good and precious souls. The Bishop of Manchester has today requested the British government to make concessions for admitting Iraqi Christians into Britain. There lies a further challenge.
When Jesus stood up in the fishing boat with his disciples who were terrified at one of the storms that can appear out of nowhere on the Sea of Galilee, He spoke but three words:
‘PEACE BE STILL’!
Peace is stronger than rage. Many of us have raged from a feeling of sheer helplessness over Gaza. But peace begins in the human heart and radiates outwards.
ace activists everywhere strap on your armour!
Sorry bottom line should read Peace activists….
I promise to only use my prodigious powers of evil to do good.
This ebola propaganda is just that, propaganda. They have been trying to scare the you know what out of us about a “flesh-eating virus” for years. It’s nothing new, in fact it’s the swine flu pandemic al over again. How many times do people have to fall for this ridiculous “deadly virus will wipe out humanity” ruse?
The people of africa live in abject poverty and due to lack of proper nutrition and sanitation, they get all kinds of diseases. They are also experimented on by big pharma, if you haven’t been paying attention. That’s much more likely the causes of their illness than some virus from a bat.
A pandemic is the perfect excuse for all manner of people controls. Travel and assembly can be easily limited without the slightest peep from the masses. “Oh, please big gov’t, save us.”
As with all communicable diseases, if you are healthy, you will most likely not get sick. If you get sick, there are many natural remedies that will help you heal–vitamin c, d, zinc, magnesium, echinacea, colloidal silver, sleep, fasting, detoxing…
Go to Jon Rappoport’s webpage for more on the ebola hoax, nomorefakenews.com
Many thanks for this comment, Mary!
How come Roger Weigand`s website has no update since may 2013? Another Guru gold bug Bites the dust..along with Peter Grandich and Robert Bishop..Korelin economics report soon to join them …

Totally a nonsensical comment Reo.
Peter Grandich has progressed well with his endeavors; Bob sold his business when he retired a few years back; and, as for KER we are doing what we love to do.
Guru gold bug me? Not quite, try listening to our full shows sometime. And, if you do, listen carefully to what I say!
