Hmm….guess Bob shouldn’t have gone short on gold and silver…
Bob and I discussed this when we were on a property visit in Phoenix a couple of weeks ago.
With all due respect to Bob, I don’t think he is correct in the short term.
No one ever can accurately predict the duration of a market. I believe that given the current conditions, precious metals will continue to appreciate.
The stocks are lagging, but you know what? So what, my portfolio is doing just fine and I am convinced that they will catch up.
Oh boy, did I make a mistake. No, there was no hostile takeover. Big Al just went through a “brain freeze”.
Thanks, Ken, for pointing this out.
Have a great weekend,
Al
Hey Big Al, can you point me to a list of all the Genocide radio stations?
Oops…meant Genesis.
Not cool.
I’ll try to put this to good use imimleatedy.
[…] Grandich on Korelin Radio – highlight segment 2 […]
Geez, let’s show a little damn respect! Genocide?
Go to their website. I think they have something over 200 stations.
Seriously man, I apreciate your continuing comments. I haven’t been doing much replying lately because it has been a very eventful couple of weeks. Bought another place in Semi, got sick and had a biopsy (which fortunately came bqck negative).
Big Al
Glad to hear you’re feeling better. And I’m sure you’ll do just fine because in my book you’re indestructible!
Although I gotta admint, California real estate will make you sick, epecially the taxation! But be glad you don’t have to pay California income tax. The marginal rate of over 9.5 percent kicks in at only around $48k.
And then there’s an 8.25% sales tax put of course the cities and counties can and do pile on more. In many places the sales tax is close to 10%. And then there’s gas tax and…dang, I never shoulda got started on a tax rant….it never ends.
And of course no matter how much Sacramento it’s never enough (just like the criminals in DC) so there are huge deficits and our good friends the Demoncrats in Sacramento our screaming for tax increases.
Apparently I got so frazzled I left our words and couldn’t spell….government will do that to you.
Okay Ken, more complete agreement on my part!
Big Al
We are only here four months out of the year and I don’t do any business down here so I believe that I am safe.
We have decided not to buy for a variety of reasons not the least of which is that it really doesn’t pencil if you are only here for four months.
Big Al
Good health to you Al !
Anyway, on the nuclear power issue, it’s safe, clean and green until it’s not. We hear very little about all the other ‘little’ nuclear accidents, well, we hear nothing about them. Most of them are on Wikipedia if you look though. Most probably never killed anyone. I say ‘probably’ because it’s unknowable. That ‘probably’ i’s what the fearmongers feed on – and the pro-nuclear lobby feed on the same. People don’t like ‘probablys’. What I know for certain is that I wouldn’t want to me on that filthy site at Fukushima wading through radioactive water. It’s a big mess.
Someone ought to mention the advances in technology since most of our nuclear power plants were built.
1. Using 4% beryllium mixed with the uranium increases thermal conductivity of the rods that localized melting becomes much less probable.
2. There are designs that cannot melt down.
3. Thorium peble reactors, only in experimental use now, with actually consume plutonium waste.
4. Remember that nuclear power on submarines are much more modern in design and have a much better safety record than forty year old designs.

Mickey might be wrong saying no-one was killed at Fukushims:
http://www.nationalpost.com/news/Fukushima+risk+lives+prevent+meltdown/4452751/story.html
‘Five have been killed. Two are missing. Twenty-one have been injured in a struggle where, in the words of Japan’s Prime Minister Naoto Kan, “retreat is unthinkable.”’
Anyway, even so, tragically for those on the east coast of Japan, it was probably a lot safer to ba located at this nuclear complex on March 11th than it was to be at home if you were living in the villages and towns along that coast.
Thanks “silverbug”. I believe that you are correct. I think that Mickey was referring to the actual time of the initial event. Could you send me a source as I can’t find anything right now.
Thanks,
Big Al
Al,
Sorry to hear about the biopsy result. Been there, done that, myself with that. All the best wishes for your health.
No man, the biopsy result was good not bad. I dodged the bullet for another year.
Many thanks, my friend, for your concern.
Big Al
Thanks for all you hard work Al!

I don’t know Big Al. It seems the best we can do is elect a less evil demagogue.
Check out this video.
Steve,
You got a deal on hearing something about this in our editorials in the upcoming week.
Big Al
My thoughts are starting to get pretty mad towards the site managers; Otherwise it seems great to get a few more realists like Eric Sprott on the site. Been there too for more tha 40 years and a goldbug for ever – so please again correct your website, as I’m not going to take it much longer to see my moniker and address showing up after your comments – or prolly I’ll take advantage thereoff!

Seg 1 – “My buddy Bill Murphy from 321 Energy has picked up some of his stuff.” Say what? Did GATA do a hostile take over of Bob Moriarty?
