West Red Lake Gold Mines – Madsen Mill Restarted, Bulk Sample Is Being Processed, Connection Drift Near Complete, and Mine Restart Activities Underway

Gwen Preston, VP of Communication at West Red Lake Gold Mines (TSX.V:WRLG – OTCQB:WRLGF), joins us to review the successful mill restart being achieved and all the ongoing development work and initiatives underway, both at surface and underground; moving towards first gold production towards the end of Q2 at the Madsen Mine and Mill, in the Red Lake district of Ontario, Canada.

We start off reviewing that the test mining bulk sample is currently being run through the mill as an initial first step in the process of restarting production at the Madsen mine and processing center. The mill was started up on Monday March 10th after 28 months of maintained dry shutdown. The processing of this bulk sample ore is the key initiative that the company will report results on in about a month’s time.  They will review the reconciliation of what the production grade and recovery assumptions were, versus what the recovered gold and revenues end up being.

Next we got into all the other mine restart activities well underway with the 185 employees and over 50 contractors busy with so many different initiatives from underground definition drilling, working on completing the connection drift which is approximately 97% complete, and the camp being mostly build and now housing workers. We also looked ahead to the 2nd half of 2025, once the mine is producing gold and revenues, where there is a full slate of exploration targets for the team to go after to keep expanding resources at the Fork deposit, at North Shore, in the confederation package of rocks, and the satellite Rowan Project. There will be a lot of newsflow on tap in the weeks and months to come, as this is a very active time for the company and team at the Madsen Project.

In full disclosure, Shad is shareholder of West Red Lake Gold Mines at the time of this recording.

Some of the people that were involved in New Found Gold are also involved with Nevada King Gold. Just a thought to ponder! DT

Electric cars or Ev’s are a big headache for Canadians that get sucked into buying them and finding out that they are cutting edge garbage especially in our climate. DT LOL! 🤣🤣🤣

Gone are the days when you could put in a stink bid on a stock that you liked and made it good for one week and magically look back at your portfolio in the same week and find you got a fill. The market has changed for the penny flippers, you snooze, you lose! LOL! DT 😉

If I would have listened to this guy and bought the dips and held Nat Gas I would have been fine, as it was I did very poorly late last year trading it.

I think the same now applies to Silver and the silver stocks with a potential double of the price of silver over the next year or two the results could be very profitable. The less sophisticated traders will have a lot of trouble buying gold over $3k but no problem paying $35 for silver and holding. When silver launches it will smoke everything to get the gold silver ratio back around 50:1 where it belongs.

Yeah, Nat Gas went on tear the end of last year into the first quarter of this year, but it is notoriously volatile and hard to trade.

As for Silver, I totally agree that when it starts to move up into the high $30s, it could vault up to to the $40s suddenly and then that ATH at $49-$50 comes back into focus. The corresponding move higher in the small universe of silver stocks may surprise many investors (including those that seem to only have gold tunnel-vision), but that is what plays out every time where silver stocks come from behind and leave everything else in the dust. Until then… Cheers!

How fast times have changed! This news release is from the end of August 2024! DT

Honda is investing $15 billion to build a comprehensive electric vehicle (EV) value chain in Alliston, Ontario, including an EV plant and a battery plant, with production expected to begin in 2028 and a combined capacity of 240,000 EVs and 36 GWh of batteries per year.

Like most conservative voters I go into fits of rage and throw my phone at the wall when I see a pollsters’ call, haha! You bet that the last week before the election I will be answering every call.

Hi Dan, have you noticed that The Liberals pick a leader who has a name and if the person is good looking all the better. They don’t hold leadership conventions anymore where someone’s liabilities are disastrously apparent.

Like our last Prime Minister who had little notion of technical fitness for technical jobs. Offices were plums to him he handed them out like Santa Claus. He couldn’t distinguish between right and wrong, and if he could he didn’t care. DT

Yup, and now the Liberal fun runners are forgiven in a heartbeat to instigate a new debacle upon us… ‘PP has voted against all our new policies to feed children… how could he, what a terrible man!’ …non of the policies have cost benefits that are accurate or even there at all but vote for them anyways, virtually all end up on cost overruns.

Within the first 2 minutes he talks about the economics of those MRE ounces and makes my point that not all ounces are created equal. He guesstimated $200/oz to mine which of course makes those ounces very valuable.

Even AAPL has had nothing but a dead cat bounce so far. It was enough to backtest its broken channel support and remove oversold readings but was unimpressive if you want to be bullish. Maybe it will try again…
