Michael Belkin – Which Large Gold Stocks Is Michael Buying?

Cory
February 20, 2025

Michael Belkin, Editor of the Belkin Report and Belkin Gold Stock Forecast joins me to discuss the run higher in gold and gold stocks, the role of central banks in driving the gold price, and the opportunities for investment in underperforming gold and silver stocks.

Michael explains his unique forecasting model, which uses time series analysis to predict market movements. He elaborates on his focus areas, which include large-cap gold stocks, as well as emerging opportunities in mid-cap gold and silver stocks.

We also discuss the current lack of attention from big institutional investors toward the gold sector and speculate on what might shift this trend. Despite this, Michael is optimistic about the future and emphasizes the importance of focusing on the stocks that offer the best buying opportunities.

I could see a stock like Calibre Mining go from $3 to $30. If you consider what happened to Great Bear when it was bought out by Kinross, and for those that aren’t aware Great Bear was just an exploration stock, this could easily happen with CXB. I had an oil stock 30 years ago that I bought for $3, and I sold out at $13, and it eventually went to $33. Calibre is now in a great gold jurisdiction in Newfoundland, they were quick to grab Marathon Gold which I always liked. Now Calibre’s mining ventures are paying off and with great management and in a great jurisdiction and cash flow positive they could become an even bigger regional player. I am surprised that there hasn’t been more M&A activity in this region. Thanks to Ex, this is my largest holding. As always DYODD! DT

      T‍hat High-Grade Panel 161.0 metres @ 4.26 grams per tonne (g/t) gold = 685.86 gram-meter hit. Wow!

Even that Satellite hit of ‍24.0 metres @ 5.10 g/t gold = 122.4 gram-meter intercept, which is really good.

Some nice exploration results coming back from Ana Paula.
