West Red Lake Gold Mines – Focusing On Fork – A High-Grade Underground Satellite Deposit At The Madsen Property

Will Robinson, VP of Exploration at West Red Lake Gold Mines (TSX.V:WRLG – OTCQB:WRLGF), joins me to focus on the potential of further exploring the Fork Deposit for a potential mining scenario, as a high-grade underground satellite deposit adjacent to the Madsen Mine, in the Red Lake district of Ontario, Canada.

We start getting into the historic work completed at the Fork deposit, which currently contains over 70,000 ounces of gold in all categories: An Indicated mineral resource of 20,900 ounces (“oz”) grading 5.3 grams per tonne (“g/t”) gold (“Au”), with an additional Inferred resource of 49,500 oz grading 5.2 g/t Au.

Their exploration and engineering teams have recently completed a re-evaluation of the Fork deposit pointing to its shallow, high-grade, low-plunging zone of gold mineralization that is located approximately 250 meters southwest from existing underground development at Madsen.  Will outlines that they would like to do about another 2,000-3,000 meters of definition drilling from surface, since those would be shallow holes, to better define some of the high-grade areas of mineralization and look for extensions.

FORK DRILLING HIGHLIGHTS (HISTORIC):

  • Hole RUM-08-49 Intersected 13.05m @ 13.97 g/t Au, from 107.65m to 120.7m, Including 3.63m @ 30.79 g/t Au, from 110.37m to 114.00m, Also including 1.97m @ 32.55 g/t Au, from 118.73m to 120.70m.
  • Hole PDM04-318 Intersected 9.3m @ 8.14 g/t Au, from 128.1m to 137.4m, Including 0.7m @ 85.70 g/t Au, from 128.1m to 128.8m, Also including 0.6m @ 21.3 g/t Au, from 136.8m to 137.4m.
  • Hole RUM-08-68 Intersected 1.3m @ 50.48 g/t Au, from 95.7m to 97.0m, Including 0.2m @ 169.09 g/t Au, from 95.8m to 96.0m, Also including 0.4m @ 53.27 g/t Au, from 96.2m to 96.6m.Hole PG14-011 Intersected 3.5m @ 17.18 g/t Au, from 152.5m to 156.0m, Including 1.6m @ 33.80 g/t Au, from 154.4m to 156.0m.

Will outlines that if that further drilling were to demonstrate that it was economically viable to drift over to the Fork Deposit from the existing underground infrastructure near McVeigh, then it could be brought into a mining scenario with about 2 months of underground development.  This makes Fork a compelling area of focus as could be brought into the mine plan earlier than some of the other exploration targets of focus.

ANOTHER ONE BITES THE DUST: The Lion Electric Company (TSX:LEV), an EV stock focused on school buses and trucks, will initiate bankruptcy proceedings under the Companies’ Creditors Arrangement Act.
What used to be Chrysler is now called “Stellantis” they received a lot of money from our Federal Government to build a big battery plant in Windsor Ontario. Our government allowed them to bring in workers from South Korea to construct and complete the start-up of this plant. Canadians were allowed to do menial jobs. Guess What? Stellantis is getting very close to bankruptcy proceedings we will see if they survive. DT

Plus more of the younger population can get a turbo-charged UTV for less and have a lot more fun wheeling in the back country. I’ve owned a jeep and it got terrible fuel mileage and wasn’t near as good at wheeling as the modern UTVs, plus many of the youth don’t go backcountry anymore and have more need for urban pickups that get better mileage and are far more useful.

Defense contractor and industrial conglomerate Textron has halted production of its entire powersports product line within its Specialized Vehicles unit, which includes golf carts, utility vehicles, side-by-sides, ATVs, and snowmobiles. Textron cited “soft” consumer end-market powersports demand, a warning that overlaps with Polaris’ concerns about “challenging retail demand” for its ATVs, UTVs, and jet skis.

Demand for off-road vehicles has been crushed in a high-interest-rate environment that will continue into 2025. Plus, everyone who wanted a Polaris RZR or Arctic Cat ATV bought those vehicles with cheap money during the Covid bubble.

Those results will make the UTVs even cheaper to replace their jeeps, overall there is less interest in off-roading lately, maybe because of the environmental damage they do that the younger generation is more in tune with.

Stellantis is a conglomerate headquartered in Belgium with four brands from four countries:

      Chrysler – USA
      Fiat — Italy
      Peugeot — France
      Opel — Germany

There has been debate within Stellantis over retaining the Chrysler and Dodge brands.

All those brands would be toast if they had to compete with Chinese, with exception of Ram pickups maybe
