Volt Lithium – Expanding DLE Field Testing To The Permian Basin In North Dakota, Funded By A State Grant, Answering Your Questions
Alex Wylie, President and CEO of Volt Lithium (TSX.V:VLT – OTCQB: VLTLF) joins me to the recent announcement, on December 10th, of the Company expanding field testing of it’s proprietary direct lithium extraction technology (“DLE”), backed by a grant from the state of North Dakota.
The conversation begins with a review of the field study agreement, supported by a $450,000 grant from North Dakota. Alex elaborates on the strategic importance of entering multiple oil fields to enhance the Company’s DLE technology. Alex assures us that this expansion won’t slow down the Company’s field testing progress in Texas.
The discussion then shifts to the partnership with Wellspring Hydro, a local North Dakota company. Financial aspects are also covered, including the recent $6.6 million raised to scale up operations in the Permian Basin. We wrap up by discussing the broader market for DLE technology, the competition landscape, and Volt Lithium’s strategic advantage in the DLE space.

Thanks for the interview. When is Volt going to disclose the name of their partner firm in the permian? Making it public and official would likely be a nice catalyst for the stock price.
