Google plans to build gigawatts of clean power and data centers together
https://www.canarymedia.com/articles/clean-energy/google-has-a-20b-plan-to-build-data-centers-and-clean-power-together
They talk about solar and wind farms as well as gas generators but there is no mention of modular nuclear reactors. Of course, they will still need to be hooked up to the grid in case of a power disruption. Back up batteries are a temporary fix not to be relied on for a longer outage especially in the information business. Nuclear makes more sense than solar and wind farms, but I understand their concern with safety. DT
Google already announced 2 months ago that it was going after nuclear power as a first initiative.

GOOGLE AND KAIROS POWER PARTNER TO DEPLOY 500 MW OF CLEAN ELECTRICITY GENERATION
October 14, 2024
“Kairos Power and Google have signed a Master Plant Development Agreement, creating a path to deploy a U.S. fleet of advanced nuclear power projects totaling 500 MW by 2035.”
“Under the agreement, Kairos Power will develop, construct, and operate a series of advanced reactor plants and sell energy, ancillary services, and environmental attributes to Google under Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs). Plants will be sited in relevant service territories to supply clean electricity to Google data centers, with the first deployment by 2030 to support Google’s 24/7 carbon-free energy and net zero goals.”
Bigger data centers to collect more and more data on the sheeple. Big Brother is and will be watching, more than Orwell could have imagined. Very scary
More power to charge EV’s? Ha!!!!!!!
It’s scary now but just you wait, technology is like rust it never sleeps, and it increases exponentially. DT
Increases exponentially, except for Moore’s Law.
You mean Murphy’s Law, a solar flare or an EMP bomb.

Uranium Demand Is Going Nuclear
Excelsior Prosperity w/ Shad Marquitz 12-13-2024
https://excelsiorprosperity.substack.com/p/uranium-demand-is-going-nuclear
Today the gov of Canada announced that uranium will be included in the fodder of tariff sacrifices to Trumps wild west tariff slinging mud fight. Dennison is down today on that announcement.
Yeah, these tariffs are going to cause distortions in certain markets, and so that’s a slight wrinkle in the Canadian uranium stocks, but the larger macro tailwinds are still very much there for the whole sector.
Why didn’t UEC go up, since most of its ISR projects are in the US and free of tariffs?
Mostly held by US people and most don’t know much or care about Canada… haha!
What if Trump follows through on his 25% tariff hike for Canada and Mexico, it will be a precursor of a business depression. The slowing down in steel production, in automobile output, and in building will result in a serious recession in general business. The general stock market especially in The US will be a good deal lower than it is today. DT
