Nick Appleyard, President and CEO of TriStar Gold (TSX.V:TSG & OTCQB:TSGZF) joins me to discuss the June 12th news release announcing the approval of the Licença Prévia (Preliminary License or LP) and the Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) for the Castelo de Sonhos gold project in Brazil.
Nick delves into the nearly two-year approval process for these permits, which began in July 2022. He explains the significance of these permits, especially their impact on market confidence, as evidenced by the increase in Tristar Gold’s share price.
We discuss the next steps, which involve securing an installation license for engineering and construction, and an eventual operating license. Nick also provides a detailed overview of the project’s current status, including a Pre-Feasibility Study (PFS) and a discussion on future plans, including potential partnerships and additional feasibility studies.
