District Metals – New Uranium Licenses and Future Growth Plans In Sweden
Garrett Ainsworth, President and CEO of District Metals ( TSX.V:DMX – OTCQB:DMXCF – FRA: DFPP) joins me to discuss the recent acquisition of eight new mineral licenses, focused on uranium, in Sweden.
Garrett highlights the addition of the Viken NR4 mineral license, which expands the Viken property from 10,000 to 40,000 hectares. We cover the exploration potential, planned fieldwork, and the overall potential of these deposits. Garrett explains the company’s strategy during the first three years of the mineral licenses, including geological mapping and sampling.
On the moratorium front, we discuss the potential lifting of Sweden’s uranium moratorium, expected to reach Parliament in the fall, and its impact on future work commitments and partnerships.
Additionally, we touch on the Tomtebo project, with exploration currently being funded by Boliden, and the expected timeline for drill results.
Please email me with any follow up questions for Garrett. My email address is Fleck@kereport.com.
