Silvercorp Metals to buy Adventus Mining in C$200M all-stock deal

Silvercorp Metals (NYSE:SVM) in early trading Friday after agreeing to acquire Adventus Mining (OTCQX:ADVZF) in an all-stock deal valued at ~$C200M (US$146.4B).
“Under the deal terms, Adventus (OTCQX:ADVZF) shareholders would receive 0.1015 of one Silvercorp (SVM) share for each Adventus share, which implies a price of C$0.50/share. At closing, existing Silvercorp (SVM) and Adventus (OTCQX:ADVZF) shareholders will own 81.6% and 18.4% of the combined company, respectively.”
“Silvercorp (SVM) said the addition of Adventus’ (OTCQX:ADVZF) El Domo copper-gold project in Ecuador should significantly enhance its near-term production profile and increase gold exposure, as well as metals such as silver, copper, lead and zinc.”
