Dave Erfle – Despite The Pullback In PMs There Have Been 3 Significant Gold Stock Transactions To Kick Off This Week
Dave Erfle, Editor of The Junior Miner Junky, joins us to review the pullback in precious metals and that there have still been 3 significant gold stock transactions to kick off this week. We start off looking at both the near-term and longer-term technical support and resistance levels in gold, and the gold stocks via the ETFs GDX and GDXJ.
Next we pivoted over to 2 M&A deals of note; with Dave giving his take on G Mining Ventures (TSX: GMIN) (OTCQX: GMINF) moving to acquire Reunion Gold (TSXV:RGD) (OTCQX:RGDFF), in more of a merger of equals, and then New Found Gold (TSX-V: NFG) (NYSE-A: NFGC) making a move to acquire Labrador Gold’s (TSX-V: LAB) (OTCQX: NKOSF) Kingsway Project.
We wrap up with Dave weighing in on the positive financing transaction from AbraSilver Resource Corp (TSXV: ABRA) (OTCQX: ABBRF) with a strategic C$20 million non-brokered private placement with Kinross Gold Corporation (NYSE: KGC) (TSX: K) and an affiliate of Central Puerto SA (NYSE: CEPU), and the formation of a regional partnership between AbraSilver and Kinross to jointly explore for and acquire new projects in Argentina focused on silver, gold, and copper.

I haven’t watched yet but it’s easy to see how the dollar would be #2 in the world at this time. Why would it be the euro?
For those who don’t know, when gold and the dollar are rising together, gold is the stronger of the two without exception.
True! Another thing: why would the Boyz give up the Dollar when they have stranglehold control of it?
SILJ looks great and it’s worth noting that its volume when it topped the week before last shattered the previous weekly volume record of 2021 when it nearly matched its all-time high price set in 2016.

The more I watch this calendar the more I see the correlation between the twitches of the PM markets and with the news stream from it.
Dave like to know your opinion on O3 Mining, at one time they were top pick to become a producer but haven’t heard anything in long time.
Anyone else here that knows more on this company welcome your information.
I have owned this company for long time but it hasn’t performed on golds latest breakout.

Hey Paul. I used to own it in the past. From what I remember I sold cuz I became disenchanted with management drawing what I considered a higher than industry average salary and never seemed inclined to reinvest in the company themselves all the while slowly increasing reserves through drilling with the obvious exit strategy being a buy out when AEM needs more feed at Malartic ……at least that’s how I remember it.
