Update(1805): Iranian state media has just reported that the elite IRGC has launched its first wave of ballistic and(or) cruise missiles at Israel. Already an estimated hundreds of drones are headed toward Israel. It appears Iran is seeking to overwhelm Israel’s anti-air defense systems. The United States is expected to help Israel intercept this barrage. There are statements from the Houthis saying they have also launched rockets against Israel, and there are fears Hezbollah is about to unleash a barrage too. Unconfirmed reports have said rockets have been launched from Iranian assets in Syria too.

Under current law, the government can compel “electronic communications service providers” that have direct access to communications to assist the NSA in conducting Section 702 surveillance.
In practice, that means companies like Verizon and Google must turn over the communications of the targets of Section 702 surveillance. (The

According to Jacques Mallard, a French Rear Admiral in charge of his country’s carrier battle group, France’s Navy has shifted its training program from its longtime focus on policing its territorial waters to training for battle against foreign foes.
When Mallard enlisted in the 1990s, France’s navy was focused on illegal fishing and drug smugglers. Typical training exercises involved Zodiac boats and ship boarding for search and arrest purposes. Now, Mallard says, things are different. The focus is on war.

Do you think the actual purpose of the Oct 7th invasion might have been to destroy this pact……which would have changed the Middle East?
