Defiance Silver – Update On The Tepal Project And Zacatecas Portfolio Of Projects

Doug Cavey, Executive Vice President at Defiance Silver (TSX.V:DEF – OTCQX:DNCVF), joins us for an update on this Mexico-based silver, gold, and copper exploration & development company actively engaged in advancing two major Projects: including the portfolio of Zacatecas silver projects in Zacatecas, and the Tepal copper-gold project in Michoacan, Mexico.

We started off with the big news announced on Feb 14th, that the  Mexican Court, dated February 13, 2024, has restored the rightful ownership to the mining concessions forming part of the Tepal Project back to Defiance Silver. In June 2022, after having been made aware that certain mineral concessions had been illegally and fraudulently transferred to a third party individual without the Company’s knowledge or consent, the Company commenced legal procedures in Mexico to contest and nullify this illegal transfer. Now the company has the project back, Doug mentioned that the company is working to update the technical disclosure for NI 43 101 purposes, and a larger 12 -24 month strategy that it will be announcing to the market later this year.

Next we pivoted over to the Zacatecas portfolio of silver projects, starting with reviewing how the prior drilling and upcoming smaller infill drilling program will be moving towards an resource estimate at the San Acacio Project,  focused over the historic Veta Grande vein system.  Wrapping up then review the prior drilling at both the Lucita Project and  Panuco projects where there is more bluesky upside for future drill programs, and the exploration team would like to do more follow up work there later in the year.
