I have provided updates on Kenorland Minerals (“Kenorland” or the “Company”) (TSX.V:KLD – OTCQX:KLDCF – FSE:3WQ0) for a couple years as the Company has continued to grow as a prospect generator focused in Canada and the US. One of the unique aspects of Kenorland are the large mining companies that the Company is teamed up with to advance exploration. These companies include Sumitomo Metal Mining, Newmont, Antofagasta and Centerra Gold.
In our usual interviews Zach Flood, President and CEO of Kenorland, and I focus on the many exploration programs that are either underway or on the horizon. I wanted to take a different approach to this interview by discussing with Zach what it’s like to work with these major mining companies on the exploration front. We discuss how major companies approach exploration, what happens when a discovery is made, what a true “Tier 1” asset is, and how metals prices impact exploration budgets.
Please email me with any follow up questions for Zach with regards to working with major mining companies or regarding the exploration ongoing at the Company’s projects. My email address is Fleck@kereport.com.
