Brad Rourke, President and CEO of Scottie Resources (TSX.V:SCOT – OTCQB:SCTSF), joins us to recap the next batch of high-grade gold drillhole assays that have been released from the Road and Fifi vein zones along the Blueberry Contact from this year’s 20,000 meter drill program in the Golden Triangle of British Columbia.
Highlights:
- Drillhole SR23-273 targeted the Fifi vein zone, intersecting 13.0 g/t gold over 8.5 meters and 5.12 g/t gold over 2.00 meters
- Drillhole SR23-264 targeted the Fifi Vein Zone, intersecting 88.4 g/t gold over 2.00 meters and 4.41 g/t gold over 4.5 meters
- Road Zone drillhole SR23-261 intersected 10.4 grams per tonne (g/t) gold over 7.65 meters including 51 g/t gold over 1 meter
Together the results continue to define the high-grade, outcropping deposit and provide valuable context and insight into the structural details of the system. The Blueberry Contact Zone is located 2 kilometers north-northeast of the 100% owned and royalty free, past-producing high-grade Scottie Gold Mine, 35 kilometers north of the town of Stewart, BC, along the Granduc Road.
We also note that the Company has put out a consistent number of drill holes that have over 100+ gram-meter drill intercepts from last year’s program and again in this year’s program. Brad reiterated that the overall goal of the exploration program is the delineation of the ore body geometry and scale, along with filling in some areas between prior step-outs, and getting a better handle on how things expand at depth. This drill program also allocated a small portion of around 1,500 meters for following up on drilling at the C&D Vein and some targets around the Scottie Gold Mine area which will be released in the months to come.
