I was recently introduced to Liberty Defense Holdings (TSX.V:SCAN – OTCQB:LDDFF – FWB:LD2A) which is advancing two technologies, including one product, in the security sector. The Company claims to be “a leader in next generation, walkthrough threat detection to detect concealed threats in all verticals”. The Company is now taking the HEXWAVE product to market with the HD-AIT (Definition Advanced Imaging Technology) technology moving through testing and development with the TSA. 

Bill Frain, CEO of Liberty Defense joins me to introduce the HEXWAVE and HD-AIT in terms of development to this point and the move into sales for the HEXWAVE. The HEXWAVE is a walkthrough security detection system that screens for concealed metallic and non-metallic weapons and other threats using millimeter wave, advanced 3D imaging, and Artificial Intelligence for enhanced security. The HD-AIT is a upgrade kit for existing body scanners at airports.

Bill shares some of the HEXWAVE sales to well known airports and security companies and now, with a push into the market, where future sales will come from. For the HD-AIT, Bill outlines the development of this technology and work with the TSA.
