This is a preview to the upcoming Weekend Show. In the first segment Richard Postma, AKA Doc joins me to share his thoughts on the inflation data from this morning and where the US economy stands. We also tie in longer term Fed policy. At the end Doc starts to get into the gold sector and key charts he is watching. You’ll need to tune into this Weekend’s Show to hear his full outlook for metals and markets.
NICE!! Some green shoots today even Santacruz was up about 13.5%, we mustn’t get too excited and sell! Santa will be coming out with their financial updates for Q2 2023, in a couple of weeks. Christmas can come more than once a year, eh Santa! Silver was up over 4%. LOL! DT
I think I might be a little bit early on my Nat Gas stocks, timing is crucial, but it can be trying. So far the Nat Gas stocks have been following the market listed price for natural gas. DT
Wow. Based on quantity of comments, this sector has become a ghost town. Wonder if Ex has any comments on Integra Resources?
Hi Buzz, is Integra the only stock you own, maybe you could give us your thoughts on why you invested in Integra or what you like about it if you haven’t, either way we are interested in hearing your thoughts…………….. DT
I’ve had Integra as a core holding for quite awhile. It’s been off my radar & just noticed it in my positions. They must’ve reversed split. For now, don’t know more than that.
Silver on move, bought some Kootenay, Reyna & Viper. HYMC having another good day.
Hi Buzz. Sorry for the delayed response, but I’m out on holiday with my family and just now saw this comment.
Yes, I own Integra Resources, believe it is one of the more undervalued developers out there based on all their resources in the ground paired with exploring upside for expansion, and am amazed at how completely smashed down it already was prior to merging with Millennial PMs, and now it is even more ridiculously undervalued considering all their resources insitu. Over time, I believe it will be rerated much higher just based on what the ounces in the ground and project economics are worth at current metals prices, based on peer valuations, and then even more so as an optionality factor on higher metals prices. Cheers!
Gary Savage: the bottom is in
Gary is correct.
This helps, TSX.v… pushed higher by the miners.
Looks like it to me … add $1 to my comment and still can’t get a cup of coffee.
Capped opening… something about rich people getting tax payers to pay for a trip to the mountains.
A traditional walk back of the miners. Tradition is defined as the same day or sooner.
Seems like old times:
Account value at 11:30 CST: – $6.97.
NVDA is on a tear. Holding a small position from $380. Unless a war breaks out, Semi is poised to move even higher.

Something that struck me on your chart is that the TSI is on a new buy signal while the MACD is relatively far from one. That’s bullish in my opinion since the True Strength Indicator is typically more likely to diverge bearishly in such overbought situations. BUT there’s still good reason to be careful here in my opinion. Here are 3 nearby resistance levels:

I haven’t looked at SNOW recently but thanks for bringing it to my attention. All these stocks have larger upside ahead (just look at monthly chart structure) NVDA may correct here based on Weekly PPO oscillator but remainder of the summer is looking good for Nasdaq and 7 mighty tech.
It is insane how NVDA added $700 billion in valuation in little over 4 months. Truly EPIC. Gary Savage was advising his subs in 2021 to remain in stocks as melt-up phase about to begin. I guess he was only 18 months early but look at now. He thinks stocks are in dangerous territory.
Have you considered SNOW? Both technically and fundamentally I believe it has tremendous upside potential.

Downside risk appears to be nothing compared to NVDA and it is fundamentally strong and relatively cheap.

real very sage… Will be sure to stare at the monthly bollinger band and construct a nice narrative….Why not?…ya know
