Erik Wetterling – Tracking 20 PM Exploration Stocks In A “Gamblore Portfolio”
Erik Wetterling, Founder and Editor of The Hedgeless Horseman website, joins us to review the rationale and lessons he hopes to share through tracking a constructed “Gamblore Portfolio” of 20 earlier-stage exploration stocks over time. The companies included are really more alpha plays that have his interest based on their current risk/reward profiles, and because of recent or pending company news that could drive the value creation, regardless of PM market sentiment. He also outlines why he feels it is easier to find quality management teams and better capital costs in the gold exploration companies versus the silver explorers.
Companies discussed are Headwater Gold (CSE: HWG) (OTC: HWAUF), Tectonic Metals (TSX.V:TECT) (OTCQB:TETOF), Inflection Resources (CSE: AUCU) (OTC: AUCUF), Magna Mining (TSX.V: NICU) (OTC: MGMNF), and Western Alaska Minerals (TSX.V: WAM) (OTC: WAMFF).*
*In full disclosure, the companies mentioned by Erik in this interview, are positions held in his personal portfolio, and also may be site sponsors of The Hedgeless Horseman website at the time of this recording.

I had a look at Eric Wetterling’s Gamblore portfolio, that is pretty impressive when you think of this market and the stocks he is buying. I picked up some Gold79 yesterday for .03 cents, I noticed that is one stock in his portfolio as well. HMMMM! DT
Yep… I think tracking this “Gamblore Portfolio” is a pretty sharp idea from The Hedgeless Horseman. It will be interesting to see how the portfolio valuations change in a year’s time by next May in many of these high-risk/high-reward drill plays.
SLV finished one penny above its 200 day MA…

Gold’s 150 day MA was tested tonight along with a fork support that’s a dollar or two beneath it (of course the afterhours test won’t show on this chart)…

During the bull move of 2018 to 2020 gold closed above its 3 quarter MA 9 times straight. Now it has finished the last 2 quarters above it and will do so again in a week if 1912 holds.
I don’t think most realize that the highest quarterly close in history happened this year.

Yep, we had pointed out in a few different prior interviews this year when we saw both the highest quarterly close and highest monthly close; and just a whisker away from the highest weekly close in gold. Additionally 2022 was also the highest annual average price for gold. In the big picture and longer duration charts that is quite constructive.
Here’s Bonzo’s list of his exploration stocks: AIRRF, AUIAF, BYAGF, BBBXF, CBGZF, CNRIF, DOLLF, SIOCF, ESKYF, ELRRF, FURY, GOTRF, HL, AUCUF, IRVRF, KUYAF, LAB, LIO, NFGC, NULGF, NSRPF, OLVRF, SILV, TLRS, WRMCF, FFOXF, BCMRF, GPTRF, SGD, IAUX, BLAGF, BTG, WAM
Someday my ship will come in. Every dog has his day, unless Biden starts WWIII
Great list Bonzo ! Thanks for publishing this list to us!
Started it a month ago, or just picked the low point for this basket of stocks? I like most of the stocks in his basket, but this seems to be a little ingenuous unless Eric published his list a month ago.
