Blackrock Silver – High-grade Drill Results Returned From The Tonopah North Lithium Project By Partner Tearlach Resources

Andrew Pollard, President and CEO of Blackrock Silver (TSX.V:BRC – OTCQX:BKRRF), joins us to review the recent drill results from the Tonopah North Lithium Project, as well as the coming exploration strategy at both Silver Cloud and the Tonopah West Project in Nevada.

At the Tonopah North Lithium Project, their option partners,  Tearlach Resources (TSX.V: TEA – OTC: TELHF), just released high-grade lithium assays from 5 diamond core holes, with and additional 6 more holes still pending results back from the assay labs in the near future.  Tearlach’s drilling has confirmed Blackrock’s original Tonopah North lithium discovery with core drill holes delivering grades that range from 40-85% higher than the corresponding original reverse circulation intercepts drilled by Blackrock. These results substantially increase the grade and expand the mineralized zone at the project. All drillholes intersected broad zones of lithium mineralization in excess of 400 ppm, each having intervals greater than 1,000 ppm Li, including the highest-grade intercept at Gabriel to date of 1,460 ppm Li;

Next, we discussed the drill plans or a Phase 1 drill program at its bonanza-grade discovery drillhole in Northwest Canyon on the Silver Cloud Project.  The initial plan is to drill 2,000 meters starting in a few weeks and stepping out from the discovery made last year.  Additionally on the exploration side, we highlight the 4,000 meters of drilling planned after that, later in the summer at the company’s flagship Tonopah West Project. With one of the highest-grade undeveloped silver-gold resources in the world, the goals will be to not only grow the resource through more drilling, but also a better interpretation of the prior drill holes and vein orientation, that will all be working towards an updated mineral resource early next year. There will be plenty of exploration news hitting the wires over the months to come from all 3 projects.
