Torq Resources – Drilling Update At Santa Cecilia and 5 New Targets Defined At Margarita To Be Drilled In Q3
Michael Hennrichsen, Chief Geologist at Torq Resources (TSX.V:TORQ – OTCQX:TRBMF) joins me to provide an update on the 15,000 meter program underway at the Santa Cecilia Project and recap the April 5th news release reporting 5 new targets on the Margarita Project. Both Projects are in Chile.
Drilling will continue at Santa Cecilia until a winter break, when the drill will move over to the Margarita Project.
Recapping the April 5th news release, 5 new targets were identified on the Project – see Figure 2 from the news release posted below. I ask Michael about the higher priority targets when it comes to the upcoming Q3 drilling and how many meters are needed to determine which targets warrant follow up drilling.
If you have any follow up questions for Michael or the team at Torq please email me at Fleck@kereport.com.
Figure 2: Illustrates newly identified targets based on gold-in-soils geochemistry across the property. Gold geochemistry results have demonstrated the potential for growth at the Falla 13 discovery, both along strike to the north-northwest as well as along a parallel structure to the east. In addition, five undrilled anomalies were defined across the project area, which will also be a focus for the planned upcoming drill program that is expected to commence in Q3 of 2023.
Margarita is a pleasant surprise and holds promise for a number of IOCG pods, the gold grade is pretty impressive
I got in for the Santa Cecilia as it represents a serious no brainer discovery already………..only 1.5 KMS from Caspiche………..you can bet ABX and NEM will be watching very closely at every hole here……as SC does not have to have stand alone status to get gobbled up. Goldfields stepping in to get a seat at the table, is also a thumbs up confirmation ! Management are best in breed as well !
