John Miniotis, President and CEO of AbraSilver Resource Corp (TSX.V:ABRA – OTC:ABBRF), joins us to outline continued high-grade silver drill hits over wide intercepts from the JAC Target at the Diablillos Project in Argentina.
Just today, news was released where drill hole# DDH 23-004 encountered the all-time highest-grade silver intercept recorded on the entire Diablillos project to date and the best grade-thickness intercept to date at the new JAC Zone. This drill hole intersected a broad zone of 14.0 meters at 3,025 g/t Ag and 0.21 g/t Au starting from a down-hole depth of 136 meters, including the bonanza grade intercept of 32,481 g/t Ag and 0.74 g/t Au over 1.0 meter.
John outlines why the exploration team is so encouraged by the continued Phase 3 program drill success at this JAC Zone, as these results just followed another wide silver intercept reported on Feb 27th, where drill hole# DDH 22-083 intersected a broad zone of high-grade silver mineralization with 25.0 meters at 774 g/t silver, 0.28 g/t gold and 1.36% copper, starting from a down-hole depth of 159 meters. Many of the prior drill holes were also over larger 20-40 meter intercepts of mineralization near surface, making this area of prime interest for the upcoming resource estimate and PFS to be released later this year.
The Company already released a Resource Estimate for the Oculto Deposit on November 3rd of last year, but the focus now is for this expanded 22,000 meter Phase 3 drill program at the JAC Target to be released over the next few months, and then put into a maiden resource on this JAC target area in September, followed by incorporating other metallurgical work, environmental and permitting work, and other derisking work going on into a Preliminary Feasibility Study by year end.
