FPX Nickel – $725,000 Non-Dilutive and Non-Repayable Canadian Government Funding To Continue Advancing The Baptiste Nickel Project
Martin Turenne, President and CEO of FPX Nickel (TSX.V:FPX – OTCQB:FPOCF) joins me to discuss the $725,000 funding from the Government of Canada’s Critical Minerals Research, Development and Demonstration (“CMRDD”) program. This is the first time the Government is providing money to critical minerals companies from the CMRDD program. This money is non-dilutive and non-repayable.
Martin explains how this money will be used to continue to de-risk and move forward the Baptiste Nickel Project. We discuss what attracted the Government to this Project over the 100+ other applicants for the program. We also look ahead to the work ongoing and planned this year to move the Project closer to development.
