Metallic Minerals – Best Copper Equivalent Drill Hole Released To Date At The La Plata Project, Along With Gold, Platinum, and Palladium
Greg Johnson, CEO and Executive Chairman of Metallic Minerals (TSX.V:MMG – OTCQB:MMNGF), and Chairman of the Metallic Group of Companies, also including Stillwater Critical Minerals (TSX.V: PGE – OTCQB: PGEZF) and Granite Creek Copper (TSX.V:GCX – OTCQB:GCXXF), joins us to recap the news on Metallic Minerals that was just released to the market on February 24th, at the La Plata project in southern Colorado. Hole# LAP22-04, drilled to the north of the resource area, intercepted the longest and highest-grade interval ever encountered at La Plata at 816 meters of 0.41% recovered copper equivalent, ending in 3.53% CuEq over the final 9.75 meters. This is one of the top intersections for any North American copper project in the past several years. We also discussed the additional high-grade gold-platinum-palladium mineralization associated with copper and silver, and what this discovery of a new style of mineralization could mean in the resource area.
Next we review some key takeaways from the 2022 exploration season at the West, East, and Central target zones, along with the overall 2023 work strategy building towards a maiden resource estimate at the Keno Silver Project in the Yukon. We also mention the positive for the whole Keno Hill area that Hecla is aggressively moving it’s mine towards commercial production by the end of this year.
We also revisited the recent announcement of the production royalty agreement on 5 ½ miles of alluvial gold claims at its Australia Creek property in the Klondike Gold District of Canada’s Yukon Territory. This is with Little Flake mining, a company owned and operated by Parker Schnabel of Discovery Channel‘s top-rated television series, “Gold Rush.” Greg unpacks what this first royalty deal in their Klondike Alluvial claims with Little Flake mining, and future royalty transactions, could mean as far as income revenues to the company to help fund more exploration and operations.

Nice drill results from 2 of Doc Jones critical/base metals plays. Both Emerita and Magna expanding their resources. That I’m happy about.
Hi Wolfster. Yes, as an Integra shareholder, and one that was just considering buying some Millennial PMs shares as well, I am happy with this merger. I think some of the comments from people over on the Ceo.ca boards would crab if they won the lottery because they don’t want to pay the taxes. As for the initial market reaction, that happens on like 90% of mergers or to the acquiring companies initially, but I read little into those kneejerk reactions.
Both Integra and Millennial PMs were up nicely today in a mixed market, so maybe some folks are coming to their senses and coming in as buyers.
If you check out the interview we did today with Jason from Millennial PMs, you’ll likely go from unhappy to happy, but maybe it’s better that you hear it from him directly… 🙂
