Cassiar Gold – Exploration Update From Cassiar North, Cassiar South, And Regional Targets

Marco Roque, President and CEO of Cassiar Gold (TSX.V:GLDC – OTCQX:CGLCF), joins us to provide a comprehensive exploration update from Cassiar North, Cassiar South, and 3 regional targets at the Cassiar Gold Project, in BC.

We start off by having Marco outline the nearly 40% expansion to the known NI 43-101 resource estimate at the Taurus Deposit at Cassiar North up to 1.4 million ounces at 1.14 g/t gold, based on the drilling from 2021.    With over half of the 23,000 meter drill program that just completed for 2022 being expansion and infill at Taurus, it is possible that there could be another resource coming in out in 2023 that would show even further growth, but 90% of the assays from this drill program are still pending release.  The Company is making preparations to do metallurgical work and sulfur analysis followed by bottle roll testing from several areas internal to the Taurus deposit to confirm the potential amenability for open pit mining recoveries.

Next we pivot over to the other half of the drilling from the 2022 program focused on the high-grade veins across the highway at Cassiar South.    We discussed the compelling infrastructure in place at Cassiar South with 15  portals, a fully permitted 300 tpd mill, power infrastructure, and historic production there of over 315,000 ounces of gold.   During last year’s program, mineralization and gold-bearing structures were hit on 18 of the 19 holes drilled.  This years assays from Cassiar South remain pending .  As far as the step-out regional targets near Cassiar North, five holes were drilled at Wings Canyon and a field team put boots on the ground at Lucky and Snow Creek regional prospects. Marco is interested to see how the results come in, and the exploration plan is to test the 500 meter gap  between Wings Canyon and Taurus in next year’s drill program.

The Company is cashed up with $10 million in the treasury as of the end of September, a large number of drill results to report from present through February, and other derisking news on tap for the balance of this year.
