Thomas Atkins, President and CEO of Mammoth Resources (TSX.V:MTH – OTC:MMMRF) joins us for another exploration update at the Tenoriba Project, in Mexico. We start off by highlighting the recent drill results from the Los Carneritos area from both July and August, that came back, making it a total of 21 holes that have now been released out of the 27 holes drilled, with 6 holes that are still pending assays being returned and released to the market. Next we have Thomas clarify the 3 main target areas of interest, which include the West El Moreno area, the Central Masuparia area, and the East Los Carneritos area, and speak to the size and scale of this project.
The overall drill program for the balance of the year will roughly double the amount of holes already drilled, targeting another 25 holes, and taking it up to over 50+ holes on this campaign. Most of the coming exploration be focused at stepping out and growing the Los Carneritos target area, and some follow up work at Masuparia, with the goal of pulling together an initial inferred resource at the conclusion of the larger drill program next year. There is also ongoing metallurgical work to test the amenability towards open pit heap leach processing, and we discuss some of the other nearby projects successfully employing this same process at similar or even lower grades, than the Tenoriba Project average weighted head grade at .66 g/t.
