Greg Johnson, CEO and Chairman of Metallic Minerals (TSX.V:MMG – OTCQB:MMNGF) joins us to recap the 2021 exploration programs at the Keno Silver Project in the Yukon, the La Plata Project in Colorado, and the Australia Creek Royalty on Klondike alluvial gold project.
We start off with a recap of the 4,300 meter Phase 1 drill program included 45 holes at 3 main targets at the Keno Hill Project, with the Caribou and Homestake zones getting the most work. We also discuss 1,900 meter Phase 2 exploraiton program, that had 8 drill holes focused on earlier stage targets in East Keno and following up on the IP survey and on the high-grade intercepts from last year’s drill season.
Next we pivot down to the La Plata Silver Silver-Gold-Copper Project where the company has completed a 2,000 meter program on 4 main zones, bringing it up to 56 holes in total at this project. Greg discusses the potential to discover more copper porphyry centers on their massive land package, in addition to the structurally controlled silver-gold areas. We wrap up with the exploration work going on down at the Company’s alluvial gold projects in Klondike Gold District, and how royalty payments will be growing incoming revenue in the years to come.
