Joel has been spot on for this Market correction so where does it go from here?
Joel Elconin, Co-host of the Benzinga Pre-Market Prep Show and Editor of the PreMarket Prep website joins us to share his thoughts on where the US markets will go after this 2 week long correction. We also discuss the inflation (CPI) data today and Apple’s event today.

Dollar Drifts As Soft Inflation Raises Taper Timing Questions
2 hours ago (Sep 14, 2021) – Reuters
“The dollar drifted within recent ranges against major peers on Wednesday after softer-than-expected U.S. inflation raised doubts about a taper of Federal Reserve stimulus this year.”
“The dollar index stood at 92.632, little changed from Tuesday, when it dropped following the inflation data only to recover on haven demand as stocks slid on Wall Street.”
Pre-market hit on Gold…again.
Again, and again, and again… over a year is getting a little old….
Of course everything and everyone needs a breather …. 🙂
It has becone so obvious for so long that even the SEC could forward a criminal case to Justice. Since they don’t one can only conclude that the Federal Government in many forms is/are complicit and would be co-defendants. Since the manipulation is so blatant, I can only conclude that the US is in a big Hole and they have no more tools to stop the perception of markets changing to “Bad”. They cannot let gold be populare but they may not be able to stop it. I stay fully invested.
Ray Dalio was on CNBC this AM and he was saying be diversified in many ways including at least 10% Gold. If everyone wanted 10% where would there be enough physical gold.
There is your $50,000 gold price… if, bitcon, can be $50,000 on imagination, gold his a hidden treasure…
his to is… sorry
Real OBVIOUS…… to those looking…
Labrador Gold is taken down almost daily on no news. Take a look at their chart. If my chart is right, this looks like one of those stocks that Doc likes in that it is at the lower band of the Bollinger bands.
same old today with a bit of a twist. Gold doing it’s thing into a mid morning swoon but producers marginally in green. If pattern holds however we flounder from the mid morning for rest of day. spx looking for its monthly marginal profit taking low in here before another marginal high. nothing to do in here yet.
Listening to the Senate Investigation on Abuse in the Olympic organizations. You can almost apply the problems the athletes endured with the same law enforcement deficiencies that the PMs face with Regulators. Appears to be a pattern and the pattern leads to the Appointed Attorney General and his selected appointees. This could be the tip of the iceberg. The problem being that there is only ONE Law Enforcement Agency at the Federal Level and the System relies on Congress to be the Checks and Balances. With Congress being Corrupt…then the Issue is “What To Do When There is No Enforcement Agency at The Federal Level.”
Very interesting: The Inspector General reviewing the case of the FBI agents involved in the Olympic Abuse cases and the Indianapolis Field Office of the FBI which investigated the allegations of Abuse, forwarded the names of a couple of FBI Agents to the Justice Department for further investigation of possible criminal action. That is a big deal… But, nothing happened. That leaves the Question as to Who and Why made things not happen… (Music from Jaws comes at this point)
good tune… lol…….
Epstein goes silent…. Barr… has a jolly…. and the Jail Epstein was murdered ,..closes down… humm
For those that are range bound consider yourself lucky. The bottom of my range went lower again.
I had a mildly green day cumulatively in the portfolio so it was kind of a mixed bag. The Uranium stocks continuing to run higher may have helped throw it over the hump, but still there were a lot of PM miners in the green today, not to mention the nice move higher in Group Ten Metals today.
David, hang in there and wishing you great prosperity in the medium to longer term. Sometimes the day to day moves can be exhausting, but as companies keep plugging away at these metals prices and move their projects forward, we’ll see more of the kernels start to pop.
Thanks Ex. I am still up for the year and have made the decision to ride what I got until I can see which ones are going to perform. Then the fun starts again.
May you ride well my friend. 🙂
Thanks for another Joel. Range Bound?: Mine keeps going lower. Need some up-days.
