There’s been some strange developments in the CoT reports for gold and silver
Gold and silver are seeing some historic runs in terms of price but there are some details within the Commitment of Traders reports that are very interesting. Craig Hemke joins me to share what he’s seen in terms of changes in positioning in the CoT reports.
I just bought more NSRPF@2.59. It was over 3.30 3 days ago. Moriarity says in 50 years Novo will be the biggest gold company in the world, and it’s the Horseman’s largest holding.
Starting in Jan they should be producing over 100000 of gold a year, maybe 124000 oz
I have been both in (thank you Bob Moriarty–you are missed here) and out of Novo. Had a four bagger that i let slide to a 1.5 bagger. Just don’t know what to make of it on so many levels.
For example they recently announced gearing up for production at Beaton’s Creek which i understand as their ‘original’ play prior to the Pilbara. Lower grades accessible by what i’ll call ‘conventional’ modes of production.
Which leaves the Pilbara–12,000 square kilometers of all the gold in the world! I swear what i worry about is where will the necessary water come from for production. I know they’ve been mucking about with alternative machines, portable mills that don’t need water.
I wish them well. Will probably reeenter at some point.

Quinton said he is paying the same price for the used mill that needs upgrades as a brand new mill. Bankrupt companies sell their assets for pennies on the dollar. Quinton should be questioned by shareholders. Where is the receivership discount on this used mill ? What is the new fully diluted share number after this used mill closes ?
The issue is that is would take years to build a new mill. This puts Novo on a fast track.

I couldn’t agree more with Peter. The disconnect in the lack of the move in the Silver miners when the metal price has run so hard to new recent highs has been stunning.
These silver miners are going to need to have one hell of a catch-up rally, or silver is going to need to pull back down drastically, or both. Of course, it would be best if Silver hung onto most of the gains, and the miners just woke up and blasted higher. It sure would be nice to have things go up 200%-400% from present pricing levels.
