Cash, so is your point that all Muslims are evil or bad or traitors?
I would NEVER malign all “Muslims” as evil.
I consider most truly faithful Muslims, as opposed to the majority wishy-washy Muslims, as pure evil.
WHY?
Because, despite internal inconsistencies the Book of Islam, the Koran, does not allow for moderation.
It preaches death to the infidel, in my readings and interpretations thereof, and anyone who fails to acknowledge this is either ignorant (the majority of the public) or lying (the muslim apologists and fanatic muslims).
As regard traitors:
1. Did you know that the Director of the CIA at a dinner to celebrate the end of Ramadan, gave a speech in which 3 minutes spoken in Arabic were in praise of Islam?
2. Did you know Valerie Jarrett, Obama’s leading adviser, was born in Iran and raised as a Muslim?
3. Did you know there are 5 definite (and possibly 6) muslims serving in Obama’s cabinet? (More than there are Black Americans!)
I ask why and what for? Is this to destroy the Christian ethical base of the US?
I know one is supposed to favor multiculturalism.
But, some cultures ARE better than others.
Why do you think crime, police corruption and drug exploitation is rampant in Central America?
Do you think that has nothing to do with culture?
Open your eyes!
Is multiculturalism, praised by politicians, really a way of getting cheap labor for Republicans; and a way of getting cheap votes for democrats?
Did the US, based on a conservative free enterprise Christian culture for its first 200 years, really develop into the best country in the world by NOT having the best culture of ethics and values?
Is it better to adopt a socialist democrat culture? I don’t think so.
Very interesting and thought provoking comments CFS. Thank You!
Is it really just about religious values?
Take, for example, Pre-Christian Europe – proto scientific in many disciplines from Agriculture to Zoology. The development of Philosophy, Law and of Democracy. Arguably Christianity slowed down and impeded the development of Europe. It adopted much of the character of early European culture but then added a kind of illiberal veneer on top. The early Greeks were descendants from North Western Europeans, and the philosophers they developed originated with Druidic culture of the West, the difference being that Druidic lore forbade writing for the masses, whereas the Greeks democratized knowledge with writing. Christianity took this meritocratic caste of knowledge producers and turned them into Priests. Monks and Religious scholars still carried some of the intellectual spirit of Pre-Christian Europe, though it seems much too much time was wasted on God, and on the eradication of Pre-Christian beliefs, which probably led to the loss of much tried and tested knowledge that was handed down over thousands of years. The Pagan Gods were in many respects representative of natural forces, both mental and physical, and the myths and literature concerning them descended from poetry and song which Druids used as disciplines for memory.
As an alternative view, Europeans and their descendants may very well naturally form cohesive, liberal societies dedicated to the betterment of individuals of that society and much of the negatives may come from the more or less illiberal components of Organized Religions which were imported from the Middle East which perverted European concepts. Since the transition, the problem has always been with the tendency of elites from each respect culture to be extremely hostile to the remainder of the population, and this seems to go hand in hand with the concept of an Absolute God.
Oh, and the word liberal means classical liberal. Not to be confused with the American use of the word.
JAMES:
Do not confuse biblical Christianity with the religious institution better known as Roman Catholicism – the two are worlds apart.
I am not. European culture was not controlled and politically influenced by biblical christianity the way it was by organized religion.
Now that James, is an interesting point!
Three words::
GO GET THEM.
Go get the politicians past and present who enabled, encouraged and allowed this immigration, multiculturalism and Genocide. Go Get the beaurocrats and their families and hold THEM accountable for what they have created.
5 or 20 years later is no matter— hold them accountable for their gains at the expense of a nation.
Just doing my job–does not justify White Genocide.
Good for business—does not Justify White Genocide.
Good for the econony–does not justify White Genocide.
Anti-white attitudes for personal gain— do not justify White Genocide.
Saving the world— does not justify White Genocide.
ITs a crime. Go get them. In their homes, in the studios, in their palaces and parliaments. Go get them. They need to answer.

I for one agree with CFS. Obama has to be a Muslim. But what DO other guys on this site think. Furthermore what do people think about Jimmy Carter fraternising with Hamas?
http://www.wnd.com/2014/08/jimmy-carter-refuses-to-cancel-speech-for-hamas-front/
So what!
I would agree with you Bobby in that it simply shows Carter’s character. In my opinion he was not a particularly effective president so I too don’t much care what he is doing now.
Morning Andrew,
Jimmy Carter giving the speech at the Hamas event was truly in bad taste. Especially for a for president.
Yes on reflection I think I agree Al
President Carter is not giving a Speech to Hamas, but I.S.N.A., the front group which funnels money to Hamas.
Obama delivered a taped speech to ISNA’s convention last year, which on its face is fairly neutral:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bY2F5kCbN-g
This year’s ISNA Convention info.
http://www.isna.net/annual-convention.html
Carter yet to to have speech posted.
ANDREW:
Correction … Obama is not a Muslim … he is a globalist just like the rest of them. All pieces of the same cloth.
Ah. Good to hear from you again Bentnail, A
Re. Segment 8:
The threat of Islamic damage to society in the UK pervades England.
The school system in Bradford was taken over to teach Sharia law and Islamic praise to all the students, predominantly of Pakistani origin.
At least 1400 English (white) girls have been raped or sexually exploited in the City of Rotherham over the last decade by Islamic gangs. Breaking news and tip of Iceberg.
Muslim dominated schools in London ares and throughout the Midlands are destroying or have destroyed women’s rights and civilized society in many areas because of the extreme high birthrate of Muslims in the UK.
And if you think England is degenerating, there are now many NO-GO areas in France for non-muslims, where Christian Caucasians may have a high probability of being robbed and/or killed. I’m not talking about a high-crime area as in the city-center of Chicago, but an organized attack area to eliminate non-muslims from their environment.)
Please google search my statements. You will find the unreported truth of the collapsing situation in Europe.
I will do that CFS.
Finally, I wish to state that Islam is NOT a peaceful religion.
Fact: There are over 100 verses in the Koran that advocate killing, capturing, hurting or forcefully changing non-muslims to the Islamic faith.
To believe that Islam allows for the peaceful acceptance of Christians or Jews having their own faith is PURE IGNORANCE.
Read the Koran.
While, I personally find the book inconsistent, with some statements in direct contradiction of other statements, it CANNOT reasonably be described as a peaceful religion.
It does not allow for the Golden Rule.
It does allow for lying and killing to promote Allah and Islamic faith.
Islam recognizes no borders.
So what do you think about Jimmy Carter’s actions CFS, ref above attachment?
I will wait until I read Carter’s speech before commenting on his possible support for Hamas.
I do believe Carter to be a caring Christian, an incompetent President, and, at this point in time, potentially senile.
Wow!! A caring Christian who’s potentially senile….?!
THE ONE THING ABOUT CARTER……….he has seen the inside workings……and they are not what most sheeple or mushrooms think…………..(mushroom, “feed sh t, and keep in the dark”…”)
Thank you for waiting to read his speech.
I agree completely with that statement.
I agree completely that he is a caring Christian. Potentially senile? Can’t comment on that!
ONe thing Carter ……tried to do……….was break BIG OIL, via renewable energy, So give him some credit. IF, we had broken away from BIG OIL, we would not be talking about PETRO DOLLAR…..AND WAR…..(btw I am not a Demo.)
Plus, I like peanuts……..and Billy beer………….
Well, there you go Jerry!
J the Long.
I remember Jimmy Carter claiming to have a good science background. (Especially in nuclear physics) However, in line with boasts of many politicians, any such claim was muchly exaggerated . Any attempt to “break Big Oil by encouragement of the use of renewables at that time, was doomed to failure and basically displayed his ignorance in science.
It has taken several decades of development of materials and technology even now to have subsidized programs of renewable energy use to come close to being cost-efficient.
Good point.
The problem with renewable energy,,,,it is misunderstood……..It , was corn based, because it was simple……..but, renewable, can be anything with starch or sugar, which is a wide range of materials. The renewables energy was hi jacked by the REPUB. under REAGAN, and the DOE. The elimination of FmHA programs would have already freed us from THE BIG OIL……….
I KNOW BECAUSE I WAS THERE…………..
Ref Seg 4, I agree Al. If the U.S. decides to intervene in Syria (Russia and Iran’s ally), apart from trying to get Europe to impose further sanctions (which increasingly they’ll be disinclined to do), there’s no way they’re going to mess in East Ukraine. But of course, according to Craig Roberts ISIS first came into existence courtesy of America’s designs to oust Gaddafi. So the U.S. is only trying to suppress a demon of its own making. All horrible and terrifying nonetheless.
The situation over there, and possibly soon over here, is absolutely amazing to me. It is even more amazing to me that the rest of the world (non muslem) is not taking strong action. Maybe it will in the future but how about right now!
I am a person who travels both Europe, the Middle East and America extensively.
I am almost always jet-lagged and an insomniac, but I just swing with it by reading and listening to news broadcasts or internet news, if I can connect.
Most of all news is edited or skewed by partial or total omission.
Increasingly the BBC, Canadian and US news broadcasts have major problems about giving the whole truth of any topic.
My advice to all is: at first believe nothing of what you are told.
Begin to believe only after hearing confirmation from other un-related sources, and CONTINUALLY ask why?, what if?.
Trust only actions that support beliefs about a person or happening….. and then question if those actions were correctly reported.
If someone says one thing and does something different, Red Flag that person as untrustworthy.
Rarely trust any politician….they are professional liars.
Be afraid, because I believe America is being destroyed from within.
Thank you for this comment CFS
CFS,
Great advice!
Jody D
ISIS is just an excuse for PERPETUAL INTERVENTION by the US to divert attention from our plummeting real economy. More American will die from eating cheeseburgers than if there were daily terrorists attacks in the U.S.
Sure, ISIS is an organization of thugs, driving around in U.S. ?Humvees and machine guns, but give me a break. A threat? What a $%^& Joke.
We’ll see if a real Nuke or even a dirty ordinary bomb goes off in the US.
Wonder if New York (the financial center) or Los Angeles (the center of Hollywood sin) will be the first target?
The cheeseburger comment is a good one Mr. Chew.
I think that you are wrong about ISIS not being a threat.
What is the difference between dying by beheading and a drone strike? If you REALLY want to see what a threat ISIS will be, then read th classic, The True Believers by Eric Hoffer. The Hari-Krisnas are a greater threat.
Very good points John Chew. US warplanes ready to deliver humanitarian aid in the form of 500 lb bombs over Iraq, compared to the Russian aid convoy widely believed by Merkel and other Germans to be by and large what it is. Obesity is arguably a greater plague than Ebola, etc. etc.
CFS is clearly terrified by what he supposes the Muslims will do to us whether in the U.S. or here in the U.K. It’s just as easy to find Biblical texts justifying the elimination of other faiths to argue what some ‘Christians’, given half a chance would do to others. The necklasing of homosexuals by certain African churches is but one example.
Of course as Christians we are to watch and pray. But Christians, Jews, Muslims who do not inscribe LOVE into their core beliefs are a waste of space. For to ‘judge not lest we be judged’ is axiomatic to all religions.
Andrew, you need to read the Koran.
Why should I accept length of duration of life to be of prime importance, from a philosophical point of view?
I reject that concept as somewhat selfish.
And while I indulge in selfish enjoyment of travel, rather than giving my wealth to the poor, I also am over-weight and am shortening my life by the pleasure of good food and wine.
However, that is my choice. A choice knowingly and an indulgence deliberately made. To hell with political correctness.
Your lifestyle is interesting, CFS!
I believe that your comment and Andrew’s comment are one and the same in that he says that if the Koran does not preach love as Jesus did he would not support it.
Big Al. I just got back to Sonoma last night, from Norway.
(Completely off topic is just how many Chinese seem to be working in Norway. I was only in Oslo, so should not generalize.
I’m blessed by being retired and able to afford pretty much whatever I really want.
I can’t even claim to have be where I am by hard work.
Although I choose to be in a non-sleeping state for over 18 hours a day, that too is my choice and probably is shortening my lifespan.
I really only have one “quasi-religious” tenet in life, which is to live by the Golden Rule. I wish the whole world would do likewise.
One of Jesus’s greatest teachings!
You are completely correct, in my mind, about your comment about those who do not inscribe LOVE into their core beliefs. Thank you
KORAN commands to kill infidels:
Allah is an enemy to unbelievers. – Sura 2:98
On unbelievers is the curse of Allah. – Sura 2:161
Slay them wherever ye find them and drive them out of the places whence they drove you out, for persecution is worse than slaughter. – 2:191
Fight against them until idolatry is no more and Allah’s religion reigns supreme. (different translation: ) Fight them until there is no persecution and the religion is God’s entirely. – Sura 2:193 and 8:39
Fighting is obligatory for you, much as you dislike it. – 2:216
(different translation: ) Prescribed for you is fighting, though it is hateful to you.
….. martyrs…. Enter heaven – Surah 3:140-43
If you should die or be killed in the cause of Allah, His mercy and forgiveness would surely be better than all they riches they amass. If you should die or be killed, before Him you shall all be gathered. – 3:157-8
You must not think that those who were slain in the cause of Allah are dead. They are alive, and well-provided for by their Lord. – Surah 3:169-71
Let those fight in the cause of God who sell the life of this world for the hereafter. To him who fights in the cause of God, whether he is slain or victorious, soon we shall give him a great reward. – Surah 4:74
Those who believe fight in the cause of God, and those who reject faith fight in the cause of evil. – 4:76
But if they turn renegades, seize them and slay them wherever you find them. – 4:89
Therefore, we stirred among them enmity and hatred, which shall endure till the Day of Resurrection, when Allah will declare to them all that they have done. – 5:14
O believers, take not Jews and Christians as friends; they are friends of each other. Those of you who make them his friends is one of them. God does not guide an unjust people. – 5:54
Many thanks John!
I understand that the Muslim religion, was created about 300 years after Jesus died.
I understand that the Koran , was written, by a group of Christian, theologians , who where captured and enslave, and forced to write the Koran, and after so doing or writing,… where thrown in a well and died,… which has been discovered.
ANY COMMENTS.
Surah…..5:54…. OR….. counterpoint………..”.without truth, my people parish” .KJV.
Yes they do!
True story?
I do not know who wrote the Koran.
I do know your dates, J the long, are a bit off.
The founder of Islam was Mohammed, an Arab born about A.D. 570
in Mecca (a city in today’s Saudi Arabia). He is reported to have often retreated to a cave outside of Mecca where he would spend periods of
time in deep meditation about the degenerate state of religion and morals among his own countrymen. During one of these
retreats, in A.D. 610, he reported that he was visited by the angel Gabriel, who commanded him to recite a message in the name of the
Lord. (Allah)
The message he received later became the essence of the Koran (which translates as recitings)
Mohammed began preaching that there was but one God, named Allah (which means “the God”), to the exclusion of all other
deities. This brought him much opposition in a time of history where many other religions believed in multiple Gods; forcing him to leave Mecca in the south and move to Medina in the north.
Mohammed instructed his followers to face Mecca, his birthplace, when praying rather than Jerusalem as the Jews did at that time. To this day, Muslims face Mecca in prayer.
. In 630,A.D.,
accompanied by 10,000 men, Mohammed marched back into Mecca. He purged Mecca of hundreds of its pagan gods, establishing a monotheistic religion.
Note Islam was born in violence, not logic and reasoning!
The religion was successful in uniting a federation of Arab tribes that would eventually
conquer the Byzantine and Persian empires. This was the first Caliphate and the intolerance of which prompted the Christian crusades, because of the initial expulsion of Christians from their Holy-land.
In 636, the Muslims conquered Jerusalem. They cleared the rubble from the temple site and built a
mosque and the Dome of the Rock, identifying it as the place where Mohammed went to heaven on his winged steed. This is
Islam’s third most sacred site (after Mohammed’s birthplace in Mecca and his tomb in Medina).
After his death (632 A.D.) Mohammed’s preaching was continued by two of his relatives , the different opinions of which was the origin of the Sunni-Shia split.
(The period during which Mohammed received his recitings is now celebrated as the period of Ramadan.
That is my thumbnail synopsis of Islam.
Thanks CFS
CFS……Glad to see you have done your bible studies……..sorry, I was thinking the other hijackers…..no excuses, BUT, I guess it took them six hundred years to figure out how to make up some stories.
Early beginnings of Mohammed….he was a camel driver, for a rich woman at 21 yrs.old,
Married the older woman for her money. The guy had fits, and foamed at the mouth,as noted by historians…. that was his excuse … he was having a vision.
Facing Mecca…was facing Arabia and worshipping the MOON GOD.(still a sign on the flag, the moon cresent)….as that preceded Islam for worshipping the MOON GOD….and the black stone.
Reason for one of the five pillars ,which is a requirement to get into heaven. One of which was and is, a trip to Mecca a pagan religious rite, these trips preceded Islam…. The trip requirement to Mecca ,which was one of appeasement to the merchants and financial gain, which had already been fleecing the people on these trips for many years before, from the old ritual to the moon god done for tribal customs. Many of the requirements …for the five pillars is old Arabia.
Yep. It took 300 years for Christianity to develop.
ACTS 11 VERSE 26….and the disciples were called Christians FIRST in ANTIOCH., ….WHICH means that is about 33 AD…..
If YOU what to say ROMAN CATHOLIC at about 300ad….so be it………..
Of course, the statements above are –some of them–taken out of context. One can interpret the Koran many ways. There are Muslims who are condemning strongly the atrocities of radical islam.
The issue is what drive extremism.
The reason why ISIS is seen as a threat is because it is one but at the same time the reason why the counter attack against ISIS is limited is that its leader and Caliph is in fact a Simon Elliot of the Israeli MOSSAD. ISIS is in fact a protected asset of the Western- Israeli Elites. The greater Israel the Zionists desire will be obtained by ISIS for the Zionists. The goal is to win at the least cost to the victor.
Nothing would surprise, Steven.
There are a number of people who would agree with you Steven.
Has anyone actually got links to the leaked documents making the Simon/Elliot/Shimon? I googled it a couple of days back & only found references, no originals. (Admittedly I didn’t spend long looking…)
I have the original (in french report bookmarked, but here ius a english version:
http://syrianfreepress.wordpress.com/2014/08/13/isis-is-run-by-simon-elliot-a-mossad-agent-reports-and-links-collection/
Here’s the first, French breaking of the claim:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=6xFtMr1AnJw
My French is rusty, but from what I could understand Bernard Henri Levy was just saying he’s a friend of Israel & he thinks the “Arab Spring” is good for Israel (:s).
Unless I missed it, none of those links go back to a leaked document on a site where these regularly appear (eg wikileaks*, the intercept, cryptome). Or a leaker making the claim. (Though Assange, Snowden & Greenwald have very fishy backgrounds, & their info may not always be accurate/unbiased.)
The closest to a media report was an Egyptian news website:
http://www.egy-press.com/StoryDetails.aspx?StoryID=45984
But AFAIK it’s not a major news site, newspaper or whatever; this probably sourced the item from blog/social media reports. (Note the pointed question in the comments:
“Si Abou Bakr Al-Baghdadi est présenté comme juif sioniste du nom de Simon Eliot, comment se fait-il qu’il ai été fait prisonnier à Guantanamo” )
I also checked IMDB for Simon Elliot; there are a couple of actors of that name, but no pics there or in google image searches for that name plus films he was in.
Based on these observations, my conclusion: this is BS.
(Unless I missed something?)
*eg see https://search.wikileaks.org/?q=%22simon+elliot%22&sort=0
I searched the others with google using site:whatever simon elliot

Chris Martenson – are you ‘packing’? Fully respect your attitude if someone destroys your family the perpetrators would have a problem from thereon! Poses me with a similar dilemma. Turning the other cheek and forgiving seventy times seven is all very well. But where ought one to draw the line? Trouble is here we haven’t got authorisation to carry arm, although a friend of mine says he’s out to buy a crossbow (just as lethal as a handgun) and which is still legal here in the UK!
Al, good and measured Christian that you are, what would you do if your family came under threat?!! Don’t have to answer if you’d prefer not to. lol.
Simply protect them at all costs to me.
A………THAT IS OLD TEST………………Love them to death with a 45, close enough, 7×7 49…….(just a joke)
Romans 12 :9………abhor that which is evil, cleave to that which is good.
Romans 12:18………if it be possible, as much as lieth in you, live peaceable with all men.
Romans 12:19……..Vengeance is mine, I will repay, saith the Lord.
Romans 12:21 …….Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good.
All so true!
Re Seg 8 – I’m seriously confused. If ISIS is such a dire threat then how come thousands are flooding the Mexico/U.S. ever so porous border? When I hear that it takes three hours for someone to cross the Canadian border to go on a day’s shopping trip to say Buffalo, or that they do full body scans at U.S. airports just what the hell’s going on down south, where presumably ISIS infiltrators could flood in unchallenged?
The terrorist threat here in the UK has been upgraded to serious. But then again the cynic in me says it’s just a matter of deflecting from PM Cameron’s recent serious embarrassment over Tory MP Douglas Carswell’s defection last week to join UKIP.
Meanwhile our own illegal migrant numbers keep pouring in.
That Reverend, is a very good point!
The Camp at Calais grows larger. (Gone is any attempt by the French to disperse people trying to get into England.
The Italians let any Africans that can make it to one of their islands close to Africa have free access into Mainland Italy, because the Africans will move through Italy to the UK or France.
Similarly with Spain and its enclaves on the North African coast.
I am hearing rumors of Islamic recruitment of Jihadists who will attempt to get infected with Ebola and then travel to the US.
Unlikely. Who did you hear that from CFS?
Bird, why unlikely?
If I was a terrorist I could see thinking that would be a great idea, heck, expand it, instead of suicide bombers have suicide diseasers.
The “reward” from Allah would be the same I would think.
Birdman,
A week ago I was in Turkey, visiting an ex-student of mine who teaches at the University of Akdeniz, which is in Antalya, Turkey. It is a predominant science-oriented university. E.g. their university hospital just had a successful uterus transplant. They report it as the world’s first successful one…..I don’t know – lack of knowledge in that area.
My friend, who wined and dined me, there; whom I would define as a good Muslim (because his belief is closer to agnostic than strict Islam) told me.
BM Good Muslims, Jews, Christians are those who have a large proportion of ‘don’t knows’ in their portfolios. ‘He who knows that he doesn’t know is never a fool’.
Hope all well with you re the Ebola menace., A
I heard nothing about “success” probabilities.
I did hear that death rate from ebola was probably much under-reported in West Africa.
It was suggested that a Kenyan Muslim with a British or possibly a US passport would be most effective.
And there was discussion about the difficulty of a 3-week incubation period between contracting the disease and getting to UK or US…..i.e. in ensuring disease contraction, but no display of symptoms, which would impede travel.
There was some discussion about window of opportunity and how long it would take to develop an effective vaccine. That’s about all I remember.
CFS – did he rate its chances of success? Seems like too many variables to me (infection, incubation period, etc). Bear in mind SARS was contained in very densely populated Hong Kong & Beijing. (I was in Beijing at the time – got a crowd free trip to the Forbidden City 😉
I made a comment a few weeks ago that university campuses are a prime location for recruitment of Jihadi terrorists. That is true in the West, and also appears true in the Middle East and in the Far East; although I have no personal knowledge of recruitment in the Far East.
isis run by the west? Spreading ebola.
I wouldn’t put anything past the psychopaths.
Could all be just more power/control for the government or maybe as sinister as depopulation.
I do wonder if it might be wise to avoid populated events and areas, it could be time for a false flag.
Instead of pointing fingers at Muslims and a CIA appointed president ,perhaps the energies spent on endless admonishment would be better spent focusing on whom created/caused the mid east problems and why.
In 2013 America spent three quarters of a trillion dollars on military spending,as per the official record sold for public consumption:
http://www.washingtonpost.com/blogs/wonkblog/wp/2013/01/07/everything-chuck-hagel-needs-to-know-about-the-defense-budget-in-charts/
Thought provoking, thanks Matt
Does anyone actually know the true spending on “defense”?
The “black” or off-budget spending by the CIA and related factions is non-trivial.
I know that in the last “balanced” budget year of Clinton the off-budget items during a budget surplus year still caused the National Debt to increase hundreds of billions of dollars. Of course, only part of that was black ops spending.
Factor in stealing the world’s gold and paper wealth, printing dollars in embassy basements all over the world and running sophisticated drug rings to supply the world with heroin, coke and whatever, the US ‘defense’ spending is out of this world.
That $750 billion per year assessment did not include veterans benefits ,which is another $121 billion in 2011 dollars. So,almost a trillion on defense for the defense budget they pump for public consumption.
Good ol’ Bo….still hanging in with his $2k gold forecast!
A MOTH TO THE FLAMES………….people are drawn in by hype ……no $2000 this year, but, it is in the Future………
2018

Fed’s tapped out 77:1 Financial warfare here/Jim Rickards.
JR……always a good read…………….
thx for this & your address & phone # but you forgot your credit card info…….(just kidding) haha!!
Question for technicians and fundamentalists here:
The rally beginning August 5th was led by juniors (GDXJ);
whereas the current rally is being led by seniors (GDX).
Are there any particular reasons for this?
TIA
Historically, juniors have always led rallies in the PM sector; one can see this upon examining all the PM stock rallies going all the way back to the late 70’s. It’s easier to see now because of the Indexes and ETFs. The reason? Speculative fever, simple as that.
Speculative fever is a big reality in my world, Dallas!
Speculation, yes, but buying assets that are selling for pennies or dimes on the dollar does not require any fever. Even now, with GDXJ up 46% from its December low, sentiment is hardly feverish.
Right Matthew
Rah Rah Rah…to da moon.
That’s correct —rah rah or not.
Where you are wrong is that you suggest pure speculative plays represent assets. Juniors are not what I would call *assets* selling for pennies or dimes on the dollar. They are bets that a resource play will come into being. Pure speculation. You know well that the vast majority of those plays will never become actual mines though and thus all the value in the ground is utterly worthless no matter how much indicated, inferred or measured reserves are claimed to have been discovered. Real assets have real economic value, are tangible, can be traded, bought and sold. If they are not dug up out of the earth though they are as good as useless. A resource may have a theorized volume but until it is actualized by digging it up and processing it that quantity is always going to be merely implied. You are correct it is speculation, but to hear some people keep talking up the value of companies based on what is in the ground versus their cost per share is not entirely honest in my opinion. And yet we hear again and again about the cheapness of Junior mining shares compared to the amount of gold in the ground as if it has already been pulled out and put on the market for sale.
All depends on how you define an asset. As long as a junior is perceived to have value, Bird, it is considered to be an asset!
Well said, birdman, the vast majority will be worth 0.
Luckily for me, most people seem to agree with you guys and would rather buy a stock after all the value has become obvious and the share price fully reflects it. There’s nothing wrong with that either, but no thanks. I would rather buy tomorrow’s winners today —when everyone still thinks they have no value and are going off the board.
Most juniors probably are worthless, but not all. It is incorrect to suggest that an economic deposit has no value until it os dug up.
One of my best gainers this year is up 585% since last years lows. I bought it on dips throughout 2013.

I have to agree with you Matthew.
Gotta buy the right ones though!
Certainly not today, Bird!
The use of disease to defeat ones enemies is not a new idea in fact it was used extensively prior to and in the middle ages. When a fortification was besieged the invaders would catapult animal carcasses infected with anthrax behind the castle walls. I think CFS is right we should see Ebola as a weapon that might be used.
Certainly makes one stop and think, Machine Gun
Gopro has gone from 37 to 52 in about 10 days and twitter to 50 in a few weeks from 36. Extreme overbought and I am hoping for some good corrections to get back in. Loco closed strong near the close and is setting up for a 10 to 20% + gain over the next 2 weeks to 3 weeks. I have a large holding in that and a large one now in Transocean which is at around 6 times PE at 38.60. This stock is worth 60 to 80. $3 per share dividend on about $6 earnings. Twitter reported 2 cents earnings and it trading at 49 versus Transocean reporting 1.61 in the last quarter. If this were a tech stock it would at 100+. It hit 160 back in 2008 so there is great potential. They are operating less than half their deep water rigs I believe.
I agree RIG appears to be a great buy.
Al and Cory, don’t be so scared of ISIS.
That’s what your gummit masters want. ISIS is a CIA’da creation just like Alqaeda.
See, your gummit masters need a you and the sheeple scared so you will go running to them for protection. So you will demand that they take away more of your rights, privacy and money, so your gummit will have more power.
Don’t you see how your gummit wins when you are scared of ISIS?
Don’t you see that it’s time to scare the shiite outta the sheeple to take their minds off this awful economy and the upcoming financial collapse?
Don’t you see that the history of the US gummit is to create monsters to slay?
bob part of me agrees with you. But nor should we under-estimate Isis. See my pieces below. Best, A
Bob,
Isis does not scare me and, trust me, I will not look to the government for help. I will only look to God, myself, my family and my friends.
Me, too. But since I have no family or friends I must look to myself and hopefully God will help.
Big Al, Bob,
This has to be one of the saddest post I’ve seen in a while on this here KE Report.
I don’t think the 1500 Iraqis that were lined up and got a bullet in the back of the head blame the US or the CIA for creating ISIS.
I could not watch that video, reportedly posted by ISIL, more than a few seconds and it has now disappeared from the web.
Nor do I, Professor
GDXJ finished the week up 2.83% —enough to take out weekly chart Fibonacci arc resistance after 8 weeks of trying.
http://stockcharts.com/h-sc/ui?s=GDXJ&p=W&yr=3&mn=3&dy=0&id=p73592324970&a=359708986
GDXJ also took back a Fib arc on the daily chart…
http://stockcharts.com/h-sc/ui?s=GDXJ&p=D&yr=1&mn=1&dy=0&id=p23720697759&a=359640773&listNum=1
Aside from the arcs, GDXJ is a buy here technically by some good indicators.
If this rally is similar to most others, from here
GDXJ will outperform GDX, as it is now lagging.
Last time a sprinter, maybe this time a router!
Matty or Marty, let me see….who will I follow?http://armstrongeconomics.com/2014/08/31/gold-at-2000/
Bobby, my call for 2014 (since I was asked in January) has been, and still is, $1550 gold. So I don’t know anymore than you do what it is you’re talking about.
I follow no one but consider all the info I can find before I take the positions that I do. I would suggest you do the same, but I doubt that is an option for you.
Had I followed Marty and countless others this year, I would not have had the massive gains that I do now. Or am I mistaken? Did he tell any of his meek followers to buy the hell out of the miners in December or June? Did Socrates?
For the record, I find Marty’s ECM interesting and worthwhile; his opinions, not so much.
Here’s an example: Marty: “Gold has NOT been the hedge against inflation as touted. If you bought gold in 1980 at $875 and the Dow Jones Industrials at 1,000, you have about $1300 for gold and 17,000 for stocks. That cannot be excused away.”
No excuses are necessary, Marty, just a fair comparison. Instead of choosing the 1980 PEAK in gold as a starting point, why don’t we choose the 1966 PEAK in the Dow? Gold was $35, the Dow was 1,000. At $1300 today, gold is up 37 times while stocks are up a measly 17x. Better yet, AND more logical, why don’t we choose Nixon’s ending of the dollar’s link to gold as the starting point? With the Dow averaging about $900 at the time and gold trading at $42 rather than the official $35, this scenario is friendlier to the paperbugs: Dow up 19x; Gold up 31x.
To top it off, Marty apparently believes that the 1980 gold peak is equal to $2300 today when adjusted for inflation. L O L……………………………
Well, you can count on the Rooskies not to increase their holdings of Amerikan funny money gummit debt.

For CFS, Glen Downs and all other interested parties:
THE TWO FACES OF ISLAM
Very telling piece in Barnabas Fund Daylight time newsletter. While ISIS has an apocalyptic and hideous dimension, those like the Grand Mufti of Syria are surely simply Christ-like:
https://barnabasfund.org/AU/News/News-analysis/Editorial-The-Two-Faces-of-Islam.html
For all the credit he deserves for not seeking vengeance on his son’s assassins, he’s not been consistently Christ-like:

Interesting xlurkr. Mind you Jesus isn’t always the meek and mild Saviour Christians would take him to be – ‘I don’t bring peace but a sword’ (Like 12, 51) being but one of his more bellicose remarks. The remark may be used metaphorically of how he would divide families, etc. But then again we’re back to what you or I would do if our families came under attack.
This is just ‘Give unto Assad that which is Assad’s’. If Assad’s mufti acted to spark sectarian violence, destabilising Assad’s basically secular regime, he wouldn’t be mufti for long.
(People sometimes call Assad Shiite; AFIAK he’s Alawite, a sect which was considered apostate by Shiites until an Iranian Shiite conveniently ruled otherwise a couple of years back.)
* Iranian Shiite imam
There is one major problem with Apologists for terrorist Islam. Or muslims that state terrorist ISIS is not true Islam.
How can you believe any Muslim, when it is written in the Koran (in my words) that it is proper behavior for a Muslim to lie or create falsities, in order to deceive the Infidels?
And yet another good question.
I think you are living in the bogey man Muslim creation of your mind,CFS.
I live with a Muslim in a Muslim country and none of what you are freaking out about applies to the average Muslim.
I guess you believe we should live our lives according to the Old Testament just because we come from Christian denominated societies.
I can only read, listen, observe, etc. Matt.
But to me words have meaning.
Unless I hear some Muslim official denounce some sections of the Koran as inaccurate or unacceptable, I am of necessity obligated to believe what is written in the Koran; not what is practiced by a random muslim or, indeed, the majority in some Islamic countries.
Where is there logic for me, if the official playbook of Islam preaches that it is the duty for every devout Muslim to convert every infidel, to believe Islam is a religion of live and let live. Even if that is how you live in your country, Matt, I am not creating a Bogey Man if I persist in believing what the Koran appears to preach, because that is precisely what ISIS appears to act on.
Words have meaning. I only watch and read and listen, and comment as logically and truthfully as I can.
I trust you hate to have Islam criticized, just as Big Al did not like me stating that the US is not the best country in the world, but even if the US was the best country in the world at one time; times change. I comment on Islam, only based on personal experience, which is limited and my limited knowledge as a reasonably well-informed infidel, who has striven to gain knowledge before commenting.
Some Christians see ISIS as equating to the Assyrians in the opening verses of Micah Ch 1., and that an invasion of Israel is imminent.
http://www.patheos.com/blogs/standingonmyhead/2014/08/the-wolves-of-isis-ancient-assyria-reborn.html
I think you may be correct Andrew.
Israel is concerned with many possible situations right now.
It will be interesting to see if it partly allies with one of its arab neighbors even in order to make a combined attack, on an enemy of my enemy may be a friend basis.
Totally unreported in the western press is the situation in Pakistan and its nukes that scares me the most.
I am with you on the situation re: Pakistan.
P.S. I will not be visiting Turkey again in my lifetime, I believe.
As an infidel, I choose not to invite unnecessary difficulties on myself. Despite the Turkish Riviera being a reasonably priced region of the world, with a great climate to escape to when European weather is inclement, the evolving political state of Turkey is most worrisome for tourists, and I take a hint from the dramatic decrease in Russian tourists there over the last 3 years. If they are scared….I should be.
That is an interesting point, Professor.
Ditto.
Fear based drama based upon Russian tourist numbers.
Sounds about right.
I assume, Matt, your comment was sarcastic, but since you have not probably recently been to Malta, Cyprus or Antalya, on the Turkish Riviera, there was a major presence of Russian tourism in those locations. Russians are not poor, stuck in the Soviet Union anymore. It is the American tourist presence in Europe that is disappearing due to reduced wealth and dropping dollar exchange rate in real terms. There is virtually no American tourist presence in the eastern end of the Med, and apart from Greece there never has been.
Personally I like the adriatic from Croatia to Albania
The miners, priced in real money ($HUI:$GOLD), just closed the month above the 15 month ema and the 21 month sma for the first time since March, 2011 —41 months ago.
The miners are now going to outperform gold for years, but there will be counter trend moves along the way, of course.
http://stockcharts.com/h-sc/ui?s=$HUI:$GOLD&p=M&yr=5&mn=6&dy=0&id=p71805747311&a=365739237
Couldn’t agree more and that’s why I’ve begun to purchase for the last few weeks and especially the last 2-3 weeks with this move down.
You are buying in anticipation Doc, not based on a verified trend change. That strikes me as undisciplined and presumptive of a positive change in the mood for metals and thus is not the best strategy. Especially for newcomers that you might be counseling. Why so impatient after such a long wait? You are putting the cart before the horse. Precious metals markets are still on life support so I suspect you could be holding for a good long while until you see much in the way of rewards.
As a speculator/stock-picker/value investor, I find not buying the big dips of the last year+ undisciplined. Everyone has a different approach, risk tolerance, and time frame. Some people live and die by the charts, others actually know what they own and are bold enough to bet against the market they believe it has it wrong.
As a group, the miners bottomed in December (I have some that bottomed much earlier and a couple that bottomed BEFORE gold plunged in early 2013).
Docs sudden burst of buying activity is based on the assumption gold will break to the upside once this consolidation period ends. That kind of bet is called front running the market in anticipation and amounts to gambling in my opinion and it is the kind of investing that continually causes gold investors money because odds are 50/50 he will be wrong. Why not just go to Reno and spin wheels? The odds are about the same.
Just got back from Reno Bird, and trust me the odds are much worse there!
By the way, I am not meaning to pick on Doc’s style here but he is going to face some criticism if he wants to have a gold newsletter based around charting. Disciplined investing styles also need to come into play and I think he would be wise to serve up a little restraint along with all the optimism. There are good reasons the majority of people lose when stock picking and investing and just one of them is that they are too quick to forget the basics after concluding chart patterns will soon be in their favour. Momentum must be on your side to improve odds and that has not yet arrived. Nor has there been an uptick in sentiment readings as noted by GLD holdings as one example. Rule number one….start by not making trades that could go against you with equal probabilities they go in your favour. I happen to think gold is going to break down after this consolidation and I am not alone in that assessment. Only the facts will tell us for certain though. I say watch and wait. It is risk free.
Bird, the odds at any casino are much worse. Remember, buying (or selling) a breakout is no sure bet either. As far as I’m concerned, the bottom IS in for the miners, but that does not mean that we can’t get another nasty decline sooner rather than later. I am just betting that even if we do go lower before we go higher, it won’t be a big deal. Some technicians look at price action and nothing else. I can see why they are worried about lower lows for gold. However, it is never so simple, as their (wrong) expectations in December proved.
Easier way to make money is buy the next ipo: alibaba which will become the world’s largest retailer and is the biggest online retailer.
That portion of our position which was purchased during the last 12 to 18 months has actually done quite well, thankfully.
Looked at the opposite way, real money priced in miners ($GOLD:$HUI), we can see that gold is breaking down from a 14 year high.
Despite the fact that the HUI is up 21%+ YTD, the miners are still cheaper relative to gold than they were at the 2008 crash lows.
http://stockcharts.com/h-sc/ui?s=$GOLD:$HUI&p=W&yr=10&mn=11&dy=30&id=p92547636338&a=360411565
Scooped up the remaining 2013 1 oz silver Britannias here yesterday, Matthew. Won’t be long before the 2014s disappear as well.
Andrew, I notice that Britannias are now .999 silver. (I missed the change) Do you think that makes a difference in the UK, or is there still a problem caused by VAT that depresses sales.
Actually, I am rather ignorant on Silver in Europe, because is too heavy relative to gold to move. Is VAT charged on silver coins in England?
Yes CFS VAT at 20% is levied on silver Britannias but not on gold. Both metals however are free of Capital Gains so can be passed onto family members or whoever with impunity, I’ve only got .999 coins and am only buying for the longterm – Grandad may have his uses yet!
Another first since March, 2011, is the monthly close below the mid-lines of both the Bollinger Bands and Keltner Channels.

I read today that Badhdadi has told people that Allah has spoken to him.
I guess its the time of the Moslem. (like the time of the orc in Lord of the rings)
I know Christians hate this comparison but it is the same thing Moses claimed before he did his genocide.
Unfortunately, people being the mental giants they are, will follow a “witch doctor” faster than they will any king.
Allah is Bagdadis tool, just as God has been the tool of endless predecessor psychopaths.
I think its gonna be awhile yet before people wise up concerning these religions, Jewish is no different, their genocide of the palistinians is supported by the Talmud and Torah.
Baghdadi is an ex con, same as Hitler was.
These Arabs have been oppressed, raped tortured and murdered long enough now they intend to fight back, and they have reason enough to be committed to their goals to the death. This treatment (just like the treaty of Versailles) creates the support for psychopaths like this.
To me its obvious the fear being created is for governments to extend their power, the question I ask is, How big of a conflict do the banks want this time?
Interesting final question, bb
Ghandi could be described as an ex-con; yet I admire his conviction and approach to change life in India.
“These Arabs have been oppressed, raped, tortured…..”
Really? En masse, as a matter of Government policy, by which Government in the last generation? Or are you referring to what has happened to a few Arab terrorists?
I know there is a common statement that all wars are bankers’ wars, but does anyone actually have facts to back that theory?
By “conviction”, I was not referring to any legal process, but rather his way of morality and ethics.
cfs, Im really not into argueing about it, some people honestly believe these Zionist have every right to kill as many Arabs as they can.
I personally don’t.
But I will say that this thinking is exactly what gives organizations like isis the reason to thrive. A lot of people don’t believe that killing hundreds of children for example is a defensive act.
“Jewish villages were built in the place of Arab villages. You do not even know the names of these Arab villages, and I do not blame you because geography books no longer exist. Not only do the books not exist, the Arab villages are not there either. Nahlal arose in the place of Mahlul; Kibbutz Gvat in the place of Jibta; Kibbutz Sarid in the place of Huneifis; and Kefar Yehushua in the place of Tal al-Shuman. There is not a single place built in this country that did not have a former Arab population.”
— Moshe Dayan, April 1969, Ha’aretz; quoted in Edward Said, ‘Zionism from the Standpoint of Its Victims’, Social Text, Volume 1, 1979, 7-58.
“We must expel Arabs and take their places.”
— David Ben Gurion, 1937, Ben Gurion and the Palestine Arabs, Oxford University Press, 1985
“(The Palestinians) would be crushed like grasshoppers … heads smashed against the boulders and walls.”
— Isreali Prime Minister (at the time) Yitzhak Shamir in a speech to Jewish settlers New York Times April 1, 1988
Many more such incidents are reported in a new publication from the Israeli veterans’ organization Breaking The Silence with shocking admissions from Israeli soldiers about the maltreatment of Palestinian children under Israeli occupation. The disturbing violations of children’s rights by soldiers took place in the occupied Palestinian territories between 2005-2011.
My previous post Choose a kid at random, “aim at his body”: Israeli soldiers confess their violence, addressed the abuse of Palestinian children as human shields, the use of handcuffs for torture, and the lethal use of rubber bullets. This second post summarizes more examples of the abuse of children by Israeli forces from the Breaking The Silence report, many of which — including admissions of indiscriminate shooting and wilful shooting to kill children who pose no danger — amount to war crimes
20% of Israel is Arab.
5% is designated to other nationalities.
Of the remaining 75% there are ten % ultra orthodox Jews that do not support the state or involve themselves with the state.
Of the remaining 60 % there are 20% that do not openly support ‘Zionism’.
That leaves 40% and we should use common sense to figure out that a small minority of Israel is pro-Zionist.
Should we quote Henry Kissinger, George Bush Jr and Medelaine Albright when suggesting they represent all Americans with their agendas?
Come on. This is getting silly.
After the ’67 war Israel gave back 94% of the land they acquired after being attacked by Syria,Jordan and Egypt. Is that in the israel is All-Zionists handbook?
Very good stats Matt. Many Jews still see Israel as their required bolt hole as and when anti-Semitism flares up. Things getting nasty for them in Copenhagen right now, to mention just one European city.
Bb,
Bb,
Let me be perfectly honest.
I am convinced that the blame game has to stop. Too many innocent people are being slaughtered. Simple human common sense has to come into play. The big problem here is that I am not sure that is possible. And, that is terrifying.
What is the solution to this abysmal situation?
Maybe it is very simple. If cooler heads cannot prevail then put it into the hands of God.
Al,
imo people need to recognise its psychopathic leadership that does the damage.
The religion is just a tool to drive the sheeple that believe it.
It’s an enlightened statement.
The unwashed have tv shows and sports up their ying yang.
Thanks bb – your posts are always interesting.
Thanks Bobby. Warren expresses a sentiment I heartily agree with. His technicals show downside lies ahead which happens to support my own views. I expect a breakdown in metals later this month. A few people on this site are doing quite a good pump-job on metals lately though. Very convincing stuff. It is the usual claptrap from the die hard gold bugs though. Mostly just cheer leading and I think it is best to ignore their hype until and unless gold shows a solid directional change that is positive. I would suggest to anyone interested in my point of view to hold your fire and bide your time. When the trend does change there will be money to be made all round but until then momentum is not at our backs and it is worse than a crapshoot to get hot and bothered by metals when performance still remains muted at best.
When I was buying miners at the May/June low, Warren said: “Gold is in serious trouble and not something I’ll be looking to trade for some time, perhaps even many years as its bull market may be done now.”
Like countless big names, he expected much lower lows in December, too.
He has judged gold a lot better than most. Prices are still less than a 100 dollars off their December 2013 lows and since March this year the trend has been heading back down. While others speculated prices would see highs of 2000 dollars and greater this year, the accolades still go to those who erred on the side of caution with any long term precious metals investments. Anything other than short term bets has not been too rewarding for most of the past three years.
Trading too much simply undermines MOST people’s performance. The guy who bought GDXJ at the open in January and simply held through the ups and downs this year is up more than 30% right now.
Good point. I cannot disagree with that. Over trading seems to be a disaster for almost all who try it. Just too many balls in the air at once and your attention gets divided. And things move fast in most markets. For example, I was sick all last week, came back to my computer today and saw both crude and natural gas breaking out, sugar maybe bottoming and the dollar rising nicely. Missed it all. Just a few days away from the boards and lots of fresh action to ponder. Maybe I should make a habit to stay away more often! It gives you a fresh burst of energy right away.
Glad you are feeling better, Bird.
Over trading is, in my mind, a recipe for disaster.
A bit better Al. It was really a bad month though. Bacterial lung infection. No idea how I got it either but it almost did me in. Anyway….you guys were all still here when I got back and the markets were humming along as usual. Still going up despite my theory of a summer slump. Maybe it is for the best.
I happen to agree about “holding your fire” but not in the case of select stocks. I just don’t see a major down side in many of them.
I was aware of the then what I would call Israeli terrorism prior to being granted a state. I was not aware of multiple recent atrocities practiced as policy by Israelis.
I do believe most Israelis live in a constant state of alert and fear of attack.
That is no way to live a civilized life, but there is little other choice.
I do believe as policy that Menachem Begin was prepared to trade land for peace, provided he retained defensible borders, but there is so little land available and the Arab population has grown immensely in the last 60+ years.
cfs, from what I have read, (never been there tho) there seems to be a general “racist” attitude in Israel concerning Arabs.
This has been going on long enough now that people have grown up with it.
Of course not all Isralis are racist, there are videos of rabbis saying Israel has got things wrong, the Torah preaches love etc.
The issue is, same as the U.S.,U.K., isis….psychopaths are running things.
I don’t believe our challenge is Israel,Palistine the U.S. etc
Our challenge is, how do we get rid of the psychopaths?
But first we must acknowledge that’s our challenge, we must drop our prejudices, we are not going to get anywhere until we recognise the challenge.
People are the same everywhere, Ackmed the baker could care less which way Joe six pack votes.
And Joe is far more interested in sports than he is in Akmed.
It is the psychopaths that have us killing each other.
I think your not religious, me either, but I do believe what Jesus said is true, and it doesn’t matter if a person believes in the “great banana” creating all things, what he said is still true. Peace cousin, these religions were supposed to be lessons on how to live peacefully together, other than that, they are suspect to say the least.
bb, here is a fact that will surprise you. About 200,000 people of Arabic origin live in Israel. Depending on how you count and what you consider as Israel, that’s between 10% and 15% of the population.
I’m sure they have problems and don’t like being stopped and searched often.
I’ve been to Israel half a dozen times, Jordan twice and Egypt somewhere around half a dozen times, not counting multiple entries on same trip.. I almost always have a small back-pack with me, and regularly get stopped and have the back-pack searched or me just questioned as to where I’m going, why, etc. I just accept it as part of travelling.
I know your a travler cfs, as Matt pionts out at best Im an “armchair quarterback”.
Cant blame them for searching people, I guess these random searches have been going on in New York too. Mostly black people.
Those that run the world ain’t giving up their power.
So,unless you have a military machine and a few trillion dollars the psycho paths will always rule.
My responsibility is not buying into hatred on any side but rather living my life to the fullest and treating others as they treat me.
Travelers know the golden rule as they live by it minute by minute.
I would say the controllers have to eliminate enlightened travelers.
Your probly right Matt.
I just like to think that once enough people figured out its psychopaths that cause the trouble we could learn how to recognise and eliminate them. Maybe Im dreamin tho.
I believe the point that CFS is making is that if you read the Koran and know the history of Mohammed, Islam is not a religion of peace. If we can agree on that principle then we can attempt to agree or disagree on whether there are peaceful Muslims. Just as Christians come in all stripes, I’m sure that Muslims come in all stripes based on whether they are “nominal” or not. However, if you have Muslims that believe the Koran literally, then there is an inherent problem. Ask yourself why there aren’t many Muslims that are openly critical of Islam—-it has to be for 2 potential reasons: 1. They believe in the literal interpretation of the Koran and are not going to be critical of it and therefore believe in Jihad, 2. They’re fearful to take a stand since they know the potential outcome for them—and that in itself reflects the fact Islam is not an inherently peaceful religion. Could it be that educated Muslims equal nonviolent Muslims. It could be and is probably why the education of Muslim women is a priority.
Goo logic there Richard. I did not understand the “why the education of Muslim women women is a priority” part.
1. It does not seem a desire of the strict Islamic males in control, if you ask me.
and if you are trying to imply educated Muslim women with soften the hearts and minds of Muslim men, the only statistics I can remember that arepossibly relevant are that Israeli women fighters are more vicious than Israeli men fighters. I can’t recall exact details, but can remember reading at least two independent statements on the subject.
I just read a story of a school girl in Israel saying in her classroom they shouldn’t be treating the Palistinians the way they are. She was ridiculed attacked etc
She obviously had courage, but does that reaction she got mean that their religion isn’t peaceful?
Mohammed had to unite the tribes, to do that he had to defeat a few in battle.
When Mohamed started his “epic efforts”, the situation had gotten so bad young people had trouble getting married due to the animosity between the tribes.
So, I can see why a person would see it as not peaceful, but looking at some parts of the bible a person could think the same. No?
I don’t like any of these religions, I find them all kinda warlike and oppressive of somebody. I think the “peace” in them gets lost easily.
The Buddist seems to be the most peacelike to me.
I live with a practising, modernist Musllim in the largest Muslim country in the world.
Attempting to agree or disagree on anything regarding this issue while sitting on a couch in Calgary or Chattanooga is interesting,as Al likes to say.
Your right Matt, sitting on a couch in Calgary isn’t like being there.
You live in Indonesia, Matt?!!
Six months of the year,CFS.
I posted the following chart about a month ago and predicted the action (that the indicators would remain elevated rather than rolling over as usual) now unfolding within the green ellipses. In particular, take a look at the unusual shape of the Full STO right now (looks like a dolphin).
The chart looks great overall, but the bears have successfully defended the 55 week moving average once again.

Arriving at the Gates of Heaven, Barack meets a man with a beard. ‘Are you Mohammed?’ he asks. ‘No my son, I am Peter. Mohammed is higher up.’ Peter then points to a ladder that rises into the clouds.
Delighted that Mohammed should be higher than Peter, Obama climbs the ladder in great strides, climbs up through the clouds and comes into a room where he meets another bearded man.
He asks again, ‘Are you Mohammed? ‘Why no he answers, I am Moses. Mohammed is higher still.’
Exhausted, but with a heart full of joy he climbs the ladder yet again, he discovers a larger room where he meets an angelic looking man with a beard. Full of hope, he asks again, ‘Are you Mohammed? ‘No, I am Jesus… You will find Mohammed higher up.’ Mohammed higher than Jesus!
Man oh man! Obama can hardly contain his delight and climbs and climbs ever higher. Once again, he reaches an even larger room where he meets this truly magnificent looking man with asilver white beard and once again repeats his question:
‘Are you Mohammed?’ he gasps as he is, by now, totally out of breath from all his climbing.
‘No, my son…. I am Almighty God, the Alpha and Omega. But you look exhausted. Would you like a cup of coffee?’
‘Yes! Please, my Lord’ as God looks behind him, he claps his hands and yells out:
‘Hey Mohammed– two coffees!’
hehe sorry could not resist
Love it Matt – one for my repertoire!!
I apologize to you, Big Al, for straying far off topic, but it is a rare opportunity for me to learn about the teachings of Islam.
Reading the Koran to gain a full understanding is for me extremely difficult.
It is as bad as reading and trying to understand the old English of, for example, Chaucer, even given modern English translation of the Koran.
But since we have real live knowledgeable Muslims on this site, please shoot my misunderstandings down.
I have been trying to understand directly from the Koran the role of women in Muslim society.
My understanding is the following:
A Muslim woman is the property of her husband.
A Muslim husband has the legal right and religious obligation to beat a wife if she disobeys him, is disloyal to him or simply does not please him.
The concept of wife abuse does not appear to exist in Islam.
There is no concept of martial rape.
A Muslim woman cannot refuse sex with her husband.
According to Islamic law, a husband may strike his wife for any one of the following four reasons:
1. She does not attempt to make herself beautiful for him.
2. She refuses to meet his sexual demands.
3. She leaves the house without his permission or a “legitimate reason.” (I’m not sure what constitutes a legitimate reason)
4. She neglects her religious duties.
Any of these also appear to be sufficient grounds for divorce.
Have I misinterpreted my reading of the Koran?
Fire away at me, you knowledgeable Muslims.
I asked my GF. She is not my wife and I don’t have anything to do with her religion, except to allow her to do as she pleases as it has nothing to do with me and has never interfered in our relationship.
She stated in reply:
This is arabian culture
Not moslem culture
According to Koran a hubby can’t hit the woman unless his wife refuse to pray
Better you stay her BF Matt. lol!
I surprise myself by being ON TOPIC: GOLD
There have been comments recently about a drop in demand for gold in the Far East, but have folks looked at a long term chart of Chinese gold imports recently?
Look at the lime green colored bars in the first graph/bar chart in this article:
https://www.bullionstar.com/article/chinese%20weekly%20gold%20demand%20highest%20since%20february
For you silver bugs out there, I suggest you observe the level of inventory over in Shanghai and ask where their re-supply will be coming from….
My guess is possibly from SLV, just like GLD was raided to provide gold for Shanghai.

Interesting… Thanks for the link, CFS, I didn’t know about BullionStar.
Interesting news about gas and Ukraine on the BBC.
Hard to tell if propaganda, game-playing by Putin, or real news for Europe……!
http://www.bbc.com/news/world-europe-28979642
Also heard yesterday CFS that Ukraine has already filched off four or five months of Russian gas already (held in underground silos) in the event of the very scenario now unfolding.
Interesting discussion between Al and Chris Temple, segment 1. As for geopolitics driving gold prices up in the near future, I think the world has boogieman fatigue. We’ve heard it all before from the alarmists–over and over again. ….And after all is said and done, more is said than done and those who spoke in (forked) tongues have lost their credibility.
As for the stock markets and the momentum players therein, the PEs are getting up to nose bleed levels yet again –even with all the corporate by-backs. One might be better served looking at the anemic revenue growth to see Wall Streets rally has no underpinning on Main Street–the true economy.
Thus the deflation risk the the central banks are worried about is the bubble popping in the stock markets–the bubble created by throwing grnadma and her life savings under bus ..Now western central banks are losing the full faith and credit they once enjoyed across the globe. Eventually the gold suppression scheme, the hocus pocus in PMS, will collapse upon itself. So who will blink first: honest investors or the criminals who took over our banking system.
I hear that EU/UK is demanding Russia be kicked out of the SWIFT money transfer system. That really will cause a US dollar drop.
Meanwhile the latest on ISIL:
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2737344/2ndAmessagetoAmerica-Hours-marching-300-Syrian-soldiers-desert-execution-ISIS-releases-chilling-new-beheading-video-captured-Kurdish-soldiers-orange-boiler-suits.html#v-3753935381001
(Video is not gory)
Clearly Obama does not plan to attack ISIS/ISIL.

Much propaganda is made on the BBC and other info sites that Muslim clerics in Britain have issued a FATWA against British Muslims joining the fighting of the Islamic State.
Big BS. Read the fine fine of the FATWA. My understanding is that it says no such thing. Of course, issued in Arabic, we have to rely on google translaters and the like, but it appears to me NOT to stop Muslim Brits fighting for IS….
The fatwa says Muslims have a “moral obligation” to help those in war-torn Syria and Iraq, but that they should do so “without betraying their own societies”.
Nicely expressed phrase “betraying their own societies”.
Like many sayings in the Koran itself it could easily be interpreted to mean different things to different people.
Is the Devil in the details, or in Islam itself?
Second “fine” should “print”
Could a member of Congress be beaten up in the US?

There is NO God Except Allah
Obama is agent of CIA
Who cares if he is a muslim or not?
And who cares if u CFS are a real christian or just claiming to be… just like the ashkenazi… hahaha
You are so stupid CFS
the jews are divided into 71 sects
The christian into 72 sects
The muslims into 73
U talk as if each of the community are “a community” … very poor
Dont worry .. ww3 will involved us the muslim… if not… there will always be ww4
Just continue with your hatred CFS… until u get into your grave…. haha
Cfs should be asking … who should he be worshipping?
1. Father god?
2. Jesus? ?.. well there is no J in hebrew… u got Y there… u even spell your claimed to be creator wrongly.. haha between j and y … fyi… these are not barack or barry… this is god’s name
3. Holy spirit? The god is spirit?
4. Mary…. the virgin … as muslim also believe that she is a virgin… yet the jews accused her of adultery… and u cfs are befriending the jews… haha… hypocrite. Should u worship her? Well I always see in movies … her name is being called for help… as if she is god?… do u really need an intermediate? Did God tell u to do that? So if it is true… then there is no need for god… just ask from the intermediate…. by the way…. if yesus is human… and he came from mary… no problem… but if yesus is god… and he came from mary’s system…. there is something wrong with your religion… dont just need to use logic… it contradicts the exaltness of God
5. When u go to church…. and your pastor, priest… hear your confession… u ‘ll be cleaned from sins…. well your pastor must be defined as one of your god?
6. In catholics… pastor, a priest… a father cannot marry? How good are they? Ver pious? Hahaha u create your own rules… thats nit God’s rule…..even david, joseph, moses, abraham, jacob, luth, soloman, zachary…. all the prophets… all the messenger of god has wife or wives… except a few … such as yesus… he died at 33 … who killed him? Oh yeah the romans… and a guy name jehovah… a traitor… and a man named paul… the 1st bishop?… hahaha the romans was the biggest enemy for yesus… then they embraced christian? Good tricks romans
7. How many version of bible did u read mr cfs? Which one do u follow? Haha
Nur,
I hate to say it but your comment is truly born out of ignorance. Do some reading man!
Point 5… related to pastor… are they god? Because they can forgive your sins
Point 6…. u make your own rules… human’s rules… not god’s rules… so these human should be god? Why not? Because their teaching and laws contradicts Gid’s
Point 7 … u need a holy scripture to follow God”s rule… so which is god’s teaching…. your problem is … are … there is too many bible’s version… so there u have it… u have too many gods… even if u claim u only have one God… yeah some of u are saying this… yet all contradicts
And more ignorance Nur!
Cfs… u and your friends should not spread false info about Islam… while some of your info are right… it doesnt mean u understand it… haha
Dont worry life is too short… after a few or may be a maximum of another 40 to 50 years… we will both die… and we will know whose gods/God is our God… I will be waiting for the prosecution between us… hehe u and your big mouth
As have said many times, everyone is entitled to his/her own opinion Nur!
Mr. NUR ANBIAH BIN ABDUL AZIZ
Since the true Creator created all creation why would he have hatred for the love that flowed from him? That includes you, me and every form of life on earth. Wars, hatred etc., flow from man when he looks to gain power over his fellow man. Once man, soul, realizes its true self, a spark of Divine love, issued forth from the true creator, and there is only one true creator, it sees the same in his fellow man and ceases to hate.
We’re all in this world together and we all have the choice to walk the path of our choice, but we will take responsibility for all our thoughts, actions words and deeds. Choose carefully.
God bless you, Jerry C!

Anbiah bin Abdul Aziz, Thank you for your comments. Most interesting!
You perceive, presumably, your religion to be attacked, and choose to respond, not by pointing out any mistakes or mis-statements I might have made; but rather by an attack against what you may believe is my religion, or by challenging my intelligence and honesty.
Most interesting, if you are seeking to claim Islam is a peaceful religion!
Further, your comments are, in fact, full of errors of fact and errors in assumptions about me. I choose not to waste space in this blog correcting all your errors.
But, I thank you for your comments.
God bless you too, CFS.
This guy is angry and very emotional right now!
Quite right CFS don’t get drawn in, A
We have trashed some of his more personal and stupid comments already, Reverend!
An interesting report on gold and reserves at:
http://charlesbiderman.com/2014/08/28/fraud-by-any-other-name-is-still-fraud/
I am not actually sure of the accuracy of some parts of this report, but it makes one think.
Here was Dan Norcini’s recent comments about reserves.

I missed this comment as I was travelling in Europe:

Interesting potential for hyperinflation!
Interesting
How true? ! ?
That was one of the most interesting articles I have read today. Thanks CFS
The absurdity of US foreign policy. And it is costing taxpayers a fortuen.
http://www.moneyandmarkets.com/podcasts/ron-paul-cg-24-isis-syria-and-foreign-follies
Take the 1930’s, they had everything that is happening now, Florida had a land boom, stocks looked dangerously high, The Federal Reserve was in trouble, American industry was waiting for consumers to start buying, the racketeers were making money hand over fist, and the only solution then as now was to let the system correct itself. This is what will happen.
Back then the US was not the world’s largest debtor.
It would seem that this time around it will be much worse, possibly making the ’30s look like a picnic. There is the possibility of a complete collapse of the financial system and all of society.
I don’t know if David Stockman would go that far but he did give an interview here on KWN http://kingworldnews.com/kingworldnews/Broadcast/Entries/2014/8/31_David_A._Stockman.html
Good point, Bob!
The Brits had just forced the world into poverty and servitude through the abolition of world wealth in silver and onto their fiat backed gold standard.
Roth/England/Vatican/Fed policy ushered in the Great Depression.
Now the central banks are investing are investing heavily in the stock market to keep it going up.
I would agree Machine Gun unless by some miracle a very large rabbit is pulled out of a hat. And, I don’t think that will happen.
Bhuddhists are not beheading, raping and killing.
Bhuddhism came well before Islam and Christianity.
Bhuddhism is looking like a sane form of enlightenment these days.
As a small time Buddhist, I have to agree with you. However, I don’t believe any hard core religion serve mankind well. While Islamism and Christianity impose hardship on others, Buddhism inflicts wound on their own believers. Its advocacy for suffering as a way of dedication is also quite deplorable. I remember my grandparents who would be 120 years by now. They believe that Bhuda would save them and quite satisfied with minimum living condition. I think the whole nation was made mental slaves with lack of aspiration for wealth and conquest. My old country has been practicing Buddhism for centuries. Luckily, it has never become a national religion since it does not fit emperor’s desire for expansion and conquest. Even though Muslim is a tough and aggressive religion, there seem to be some ways to co-exist and assimilate its believers in Buddhist countries. However, the real harm in the East was caused by Christianity. If not for people’s dedication for the country and determination to stay united, China would have been occupied by the Western countries long time ago.
I have always felt that way, Matt!
Ever read the Dhammapada?
Bhuddhism has always been the sane one if you ask me.
There are actually books written that argue Jesus had influence on Bhuddhism.
Not well received in the west, actually neither are the records of him travelling to India.
In any case, imo Bhuddhism is much more peaceful than the 3 favorites.
Thanks for recognizing this. However, with the exception of Tibet, Bhuddhism never made to the national religion. For me, Bhuddhism is more a philosophy than a religion.
I have read some of those books and found them to be fascinating.
I think these “hardships” on oneself is supposed to be a way to enlightenment?
I always thought there were lessons of how a person was supposed to get along with others.
The point being the importance was the “afterlife”.
A common deneominater with the others.
I can see tho how a person could view aggression of the 3 “favorites” as aggressive towards others and Buhdism hard on oneself.
Guess we have to come up with one more of “the middle path”.
The idea is to endure hardship and understand the human suffering. Your heart is devoted to the Bhudda sincerely. You also need to help the poor. The reincarnation will bring you a better life in your next life. The highest level will make you higheer being. Hope it is true but I haven’t prove it.
And Lawrence, so far nobody has!
Mr. Downs, I respectfully disagree that we need proof of an imminent threat before being worried about it. I am worried because of how EASY it would be for Boston Bomber sleeper cells to launch several, coordinated attacks inside the US on soft targets: malls, WalMarts, McDonalds, school buses, bridges, or cars stuck in rush hour traffic. They talk about ISIS members with European passports that could fly into the US, but what about our non-existent southern border?
Good Afternoon Sooze,
I personally feel that a degree of defensiveness and awareness is definitely in order.
Glen is a very well informed and bright man, but I have to not completely agree with him on this one.
Re: Segment 7:
The fact that Obama will not seriously target ISIS, tells you NOT that the interests of ISIS are aligned with the US, but RATHER THAT the interests of Obama are aligned with ISIS.
Wake up America, you have a traitor in the Whitehouse.
Fact 1:
Barry Soetoro WAS registered as a Muslim student when enrolled in the school system in Indonesia.
Fact 2:
Barack Hussein Obama (Barry Soetoro) has never publicly disavowed Islam as his religion.
Fact 3: All of Obama’s relatives in Kenya are practicing Muslims.
And have reported Obama as being Muslim.
Google all these facts and wake up, USA. Please.
