Re. seg.5……Glen summed it up in his last sentence…..Obama is been allowed to do as he pleases , because these servants of the “PEOPLE” are scared to rock the boat for fear of loosing their cushy lifestyles….They only care about protecting their jobs , while all around them the “PEOPLE” who employ them..(the american public) are losing theirs……..The cowards in congress are as about as useful as a bunch of EUNUCHS at an orgy.

      Jul 12, 2014 12:07 AM

      Interesting comment Mr. Irish.

    Jul 12, 2014 12:36 AM

RE seg. 6……Something about this deal stinks……..I expect some members in the Indian Govt & the central bank of India have just become very rich , while others have ended-up with very sore arms. All to keep the Rothschild run City of London supplied with fresh ammo….to keep their scam going a little longer…..I am surprised the gold loving people of India are not taking to the streets over this…Somebody somewhere is selling them out.

India shipping their gold to London what a joke………..The Indians have a very short memory., of who controlled their lives for more than a century.

btw…….glad to hear from you……..your comments are always refreshing

        Jul 12, 2014 12:42 AM

HI JERRY….Yes I agree….But then money talks…BTW how is the coin collecting going, if you are after any British pieces let me know, I might be able to help , in the mean time don’t let the Bs get to you .

        Good point Jerry.

Thank you very much for the kind words Mr. Irish.

      We sure do try!

    Jul 12, 2014 12:35 AM

    Irishtony,

You made me proud today because its so refreshing to hear folks with a realistic foundation. I appreciate your thoughts and inputs and it will take people just like you to turn this around, even if your not an american.

    Much respect.

      Jul 12, 2014 12:45 AM

      HI VORTEX
Thanks for your kind words. My worry about what is happening in the US is….What ever happens there usually has a ripple effect , which effects the Uk /Europe & a good chunk of country’s around the globe , & most of whats happening is not good, I would go as far as to say its evil……In the meantime take care of you & yours & if you happen to live in a community with good people then make as many friends as you can . People need good people around them , more than they realise.

        Jul 12, 2014 12:10 AM

Yes Mr. Irish, people certainly do need good people around them. I have to tell you that I consider myself to be the luckiest man in the world and Cory is rapidly coming to that conclusion.

AFRICA FOR THE AFRICANS, ASIA FOR THE ASIANS, WHITE COUNTRIES FOR EVERYBODY??

“Diversity” means being chased out of your neighborhood.
“Diversity” means being chased out of your school.
“Diversity” means being chased out of your job.
“Diversity” Means Chasing Down the Last White Person.
    “Diversity” means White Genocide

Anti-whites expect an entire race to disappear from the face of the earth without even mentioning, not even whispering about it.

Nobody’s flooding Africa with Non-Africans and giving them free health care, affirmative action and special privileges.

Only White Countries are doing it, only White children are affected, and only White politicians are allowing it.

    Anti-racist is a code word for anti-white.

Gimme a break.. I’m embarrassed to hear nonsense like this still coming out of people’s mouths. How bout we re all just human beings. Forget this racist garbage, forget patriotism n just accept we all live on the same planet together, we re all human beings.
There is no white genocide.. us Caucasians are THE people who create and manufacture almost ALL of the weapons including wmds world wide. Only white children are affected???? I don’t see white children being forced into sweat shops do you?

      Jul 12, 2014 12:44 AM

Have to agree Jay. Positive discrimination if one chooses to call it that is the inevitable result of over population. It’s as old as the hills. The trouble is that over here like in Texas it’s either got out of control or as it seems in the States has come about through devious political motives and sleight of hand.

Great forum all round – thank you. Seg 8 sums it up with words like joker, carnival, circus act. There’s absolutely no doubt that we’re being governed by clowns and jackasses whether in the U.S or here in the UK. All we can hope and pray for is that the big top collapses in some sort of controlled way, taking the high-wire p… artists with it. And please God may the up-until-now docile spectators be given an answer short of all out riots.

      Rev. Andy:

Any thoughts on how the Anglican conclave will sort things out this week?

        Jul 12, 2014 12:29 PM

Dai Uy – are you referring to the assisted death issue now being considered by General Synod? Former Archb George Carey has changed his mind on the subject and thinks it’s necessary in certain situations, while current Archb Welby thinks it is not.
Personally I think Gen Synod’s obsessing over such topics (gay marriage and women bishops are two of the other ‘chestnuts’)is a distraction from ever getting to grips with things like Gaza, Christians in Iraq etc, and so much more. The tragedy of our C of E is that it prefers to have all its teeth extracted through political correctness than ever sinking them into anything of substance.

          Jul 12, 2014 12:54 PM

Great comments Andrew…..The thing I like about you is you are NOT mainstream…
you have your own mind , & you are not afraid to speak it….You speak with the guidance of JESUS.

Speaking of Indians, I went to a local theater last night to view D’neesh Dzousa’s (sp)new film “America; Imagine a world without her” last night. He skillfully sets up 5 o6 Liberal, hateful myths about America and knocks them down one by one. An excellent film; I highly recommend to all who cherish freedom. Obama obviously does not come out well.

Tony, my guess for silver is industril use, especially solar.
The thing with billionares aquireing lots remind me of the Hunts.
Also, I think Hugo Price has mentioned a time or two that he wonders if he will be killed for what he says.
Anyway, I just think it will be industial use drive the price up.
Now that Ive said hat Monday we will find out somebody has discovered a few billion onces. lol

      Jul 12, 2014 12:24 AM

BB….I read somewhere during the week that Hugo Price is gaining more support for his Silver Peso down in Mexico there is only a small number who are opposing his idea…(& they are probably bought & paid for ) If it came to pass I think it would put the cat among the pidgin’s …..Regards solar I can not understand why Countries are not racing ahead with development , its a no brainer, imo.
Regards the few billion ounces of silver….simple they will just take all the gold clad tungsten bars & spray them silver, there you go job done…haha.

        Jul 12, 2014 12:42 AM

I don’t understand why we are not charging ahead with solar as well, gotta be some opposition to it, didnt the oil industry crush electric cars at one time?
Maybe the same thing is happening now.
China looks to be our best hope for it, go figure.

          Jul 12, 2014 12:19 AM

I don’t know a lot about alternative energy. Keeping that in mind, I have heard that solar is not particularly effective.

That is something that I definitely need to look into and I will.

Al,,,,that is non sense concerning solar……………all you need is black plastic and glass, and you can have all the heat/energy you want from the sun………You are reading misinformation from some guy who wants to rip people off or keep oil as the main source of energy………Ever think big oil and big corporation and big govt want you to be free of them……… ETHANOL…RENEWAL RESOURCES…were the same game plan in the 1970’s… and got minimized by big govt…big business…. THE SUN IS FREE…….and big business, big govt has nothing to gain….from FREE……..

TONY……….If solar takes off……..How will the OIL ELITES,,Cause any wars………WILL IT BE A BATTLE OVER THE SUN,,,INSTEAD OF OIL………….

          Thanks.

            grow lights………………

grow lights in winter,,,,and hamsters on a wheel in summer,,,just make sure you do not forget to feed the poor little things.

Now CFS…you know that in the Midwest, the sun shines 365 days a year….You just have to get above the cloud cover….or…you could turn on the wind turbines full blast and blow away the cloud cover…. with those big wind turbines spread out all over the upper part of the state, the wind turbines could easily blow away the clouds allowing sunshine to pour in ,,,and then the problem is solved………..You really need to think out side the box professor……..this is only logical thinking……

I really forgot I was not in Florida…..

    Jul 12, 2014 12:06 AM

BB, silver should be a lot higher than it is now. But as long as the manipulators/traders/ speculators can control the paper price, silver isn’t going anywhere anytime soon. It will be ranged bound, just like gold. Unless something breaks in the near future, then all bets are off. The cats over at KWN have been saying that silver will rocket to $100 but I don’t see that happening. Seeing that silver is an important industrial metal, I doubt we will see it trade anywhere higher than $50, and I am being generous with that price. I read a few years back that an auto maker (forget the name, but I believe it was Volvo) had been stockpiling silver. It’s possible that a lot of companies who use silver have already stockpiled enough of it to meet their demands for the foreseeable future. That can also keep silver’s price down.

      Jul 12, 2014 12:20 AM

Interesting point that I was unaware of Chris.

        Jul 12, 2014 12:56 AM

There was a whole story about it in one of the car magazines I read. The reason behind the stockpiling was because 1) the price was cheap 2) They had run in to problems in the past when they needed large amounts of it and couldn’t find the amount they needed. So they decided that when they located large amount of silver, they would buy it immediately, regardless if they needed it or not.

          Jul 12, 2014 12:07 AM

          Thanks Chris,

          Got a source?

          Al

      Jul 12, 2014 12:28 PM

Its a good point, but couldnt you say that about oil 10 years ago?

Oil is more important than silver, and the world economy would be a lot more prosperous at 40 dollar oil than 100 + oil.

Surely there are people who would love to control the price of oil too—perhaps they do— but it always seems to the upside.

        Jul 12, 2014 12:49 PM

Good point, Cecil. The reason why oil is 100+ is 1) there are wars happening in oil rich countries- there is always a scare that supply might be cut off 2) I think that oil is also factoring in inflation, or the devaluation of the US Dollar (some people believe oil is high because the US dollar in almost worthless)

I am not a chartist, but my analysis of charts seems to indicate WTI drops to the mid $90s per barrel, before finally heading upwards.
This is completely at odds with my fundamental analysis, which suggests going up right now……which means I’m missing something!
If I have to choose between charts and fundamentals, this time I choose the charts, because of the current volume.
Volume often carries almost as much information as price. I guess I don’t understand why Rick and Gary don’t seem to place much value in volume information.

If a constitutional convention is convened, what part do your experts want to change? A Con Con would not be limited to one subject, and the final product, no matter how many do-gooders are in charge, could very well be the end of our Republic.

THE CONSTITUTION CAN BE CHANGED WITHOUT A CONVENTION AS IT HAS BEEN DONE MANY TIMES. A CONVENTION WILL OPEN UP THE PROCESS TO WRITING A NEW CONSTITUTION IF THE ATTENDEES DECIDE. BUD, You do NOT understand the ConCon process.

The problem with the standard process for amendment is subject to needing both houses of Congress to agree, which is impossible at the moment. The ConCon process goes to the states directly. It technically does not even need a meeting of delegates. It is NOT like the original writing of the constitution convention, contrary to what many idiot radio hosts like to state.

To understand the ConCon process please read Mark Levin’s book on the subject, then you might understand the process.

            CFS
            Jul 12, 2014 12:03 PM

I should have probably replaced the words “goes to the states directly” by “comes from the States directly”, That is more precise.
It permits the people basically to bypass Congress and the President, for such a circumstance as when the government becomes tyrannical. Is that not the current situation?

    Jul 12, 2014 12:02 PM

If there is no shame in collecting welfare and government hand outs and the illegal immigrants are receiving all the entitlements of the average American citizen, why would anyone in the mid to lower classes want to be gainfully employed. No incentive, no problem, If anyone asks you if you have a job just say you are working for the government. Nothing could be closer to the truth.

        Jul 12, 2014 12:29 PM

Chris, most Canadians think the government should take care of all their needs from the cradle to the grave without giving a thought to who will pay for it. That article doesn’t shock me anymore.

          Jul 12, 2014 12:44 PM

Canadians’ dream is to work for the government. That is why there is little to no innovation happening in Canada. If you tell somebody you are going to open your own business, they look at you as if you’re crazy.

            Jul 12, 2014 12:20 PM

Not in Alberta where we actually get to keep 2/3 + of our income Chris. Being from Ontario where wages are lower, taxes are higher, overtime is rare if possible at all and jobs outside of gov’t. are scarce I can see that being the prevailing attitude east of Saskatchewan though. There are 1000 machine shops in Edmonton, which were not built by wanna-be bureaucrats.

            Jul 12, 2014 12:39 PM

Proudcanuck, what I meant to say (which didn’t come out right) is Canadians who have ideas usually tend to leave the country. There is innovation happening in Canada and there are people who stay in Canada and make valuable contributions but they are a minority. Canadians in general like safety over risk. I’ve noticed in western Canada that people have more of a go-getter attitude. Here in Montreal where I live, I can really say that about the people. Everybody is scrambling to get that cushy government job. I don’t know how many times I’ve heard my associates tell their children to go work for the government after finishing school. It’s as if the private sector doesn’t exist. That is my observation.

          Jay
          Jul 12, 2014 12:16 PM

I still wouldn’t trade our health care system for America’s. Ironically we seem to spend more money on things that benefit health and well being and far less on killing devices wmds, military, etc. Sure some of that can be pinned down to the notion that “America will defend us” but – harper aside – we also have a far better record of not invading other countries or training up future terrorists vis a vis saddam / Osama etc

            Jul 12, 2014 12:47 PM

Canada has its strengths and weaknesses, just like any other country. But I think the public sector will bankrupt this country, or should I say it already has. I live in La Belle Province and let me tell you, I don’t know how this province will continue paying the public sector worker and retiree. Taxes I believe are the highest in the country and they continue to sneak their beloved fees anywhere they can.
Regarding the MJ industry, I don’t have any issues with it (I might get some hell from Big Al for saying that). Legalise it and tax it. We all know the War on Drugs has been a failure, like prohibition. Let’s legalise MJ for starters and see what happens.

            Jay
            Jul 12, 2014 12:12 PM

I was only being sarcky in regards to that mj comment but agree with you. If there has to be a tax, imo get rid of 95% of the bureaucracy, 99.9999% of the tax code (even laws in general), and have a reasonable flat tax RIGHT across the board (no exemptions, right off s etc. Then everything’s fair, those in the 1% will be forced to contribute as they surely don’t at all as it stands. Fairest way I think and would cover only essential services.

            Jul 12, 2014 12:17 PM

Chris, I couldn’t put a number to it personally, I have a feeling if left to it society / the market would figure it out. Right now the entire tax burden is solely on the middle class. While the free ride needs to go , the wealthy deserve to pay their share. Get rid of the ultra plush bums and the burden of the rest will dissappear. (Simple example of the extreme reality we live in : if you took just the top 10 wealthiest families in America such as the Waltons, Gates, Rockefellers etc and distributed only HALF of their annual income across the entirety of the population, the average family income would DOUBLE.

Cfs I know very few who have gone to the states (in dyer circumstances where a lot of money can make a difference is about the only example I can think of). Medicare isn’t perfect by any stretch of the imagination, however it sure is great not having to pay a penny for something as fundamentally important as that. I always find it amusing to hear people rag on socialized medicine yet expect the fire ddepartment or police to show up when needed free of charge..

          Jul 12, 2014 12:35 PM

Sadly Stepan Molynew did a presentation on Canada which stated that 20.9% of the Canadian work force work for government at one level or another…but of that only about 1/6 work for the federal government. One thing to remember though is that our health care workers are also government employees in a sense…70% of our medicare being public and 30% private…where as in europe it’s 85%. Americans have to pay health insurance to the tune of ? $200-500/month? Overall we have a balanced budget at the federal level, our meagre old age pensions and Canada pension plans are funded fully …not relying on the next generation as an ongoing ponzi scheme as in the US….but with the concept of innovation…critics are right; we have fewer smaller businesses who don’t innovate enough and generally invest too little in training, education and r and d. Partly because our society spurns opulence and being bold.

            Jul 12, 2014 12:46 PM

To add something to my comment above, the problem is on the provincial level. On the federal level things are OK. It’s the provinces (Ontario and Quebec are the main offenders) that have a huge debt load that threaten to bring Canada to its knees.

That because before the system is allowed to collapse, food WILL ALSO be taxed.

The week seems to be incomplete as we do not have a summary of last week, from Doc or his views going into next week. To state that there is no innovation happening in Canada is Ridiculous! It certainly isn’t as large a contribution as the US but it is still there. Highest Regards, FIH.

      Jul 12, 2014 12:12 PM

FIH, I should have phrased it differently. There is innovation in Canada, but nothing to brag about. Canadians who have ideas usually head down to the US or Europe, even Australia. I’ve seen it happen countless of times. Canada has lost a lot of great minds to other countries.

Chris, we are falling into the same trap that Americans have, we don’t have a choice who our leaders are, Justin Trudeau’s father was our Prime Minister but surely with all the people in this country his son can’t be the only candidate for the opposition party. This is all so third world like in India or Pakistan if your family’s last name was Ghandi or Bhouto!

          Jul 12, 2014 12:43 PM

Dick Tracy, like it or not Justin Trudeau is going to be Canada’s next Prime Minister. He’s handsome and hip and his father was Pierre Trudeau, the hippest of all Prime Ministers. People only care about looks and catchphrases. Canada’s last great Prime Minister was Lester B. Pearson.

            Jul 12, 2014 12:53 PM

I used to visit regularly over the years, but less so since I am no longer able to drive because of my lack of sight. It has been almost 5 years since I was in Austria, Germany or Switzerland. I was in Trieste last year….as close as I got! (Except for changing planes in Frankfort, which doesn’t count) Used to love the Alps in Summertime, but my climbing/hiking days are over.
There is a debt problem all over. I expect some municipalities to run out of taxing power eventually. As a general rule Germans tend to be more financially cautious than the English. (Certainly Austrians and the Swiss more so) Those nations, in general, enjoy a higher standard of living than Americans.

The polls on Obama are being talked about around the world. There probably has not been a president so disliked globally as Obama. His defense of the NSA has destroyed his image outside the USA. He seems to be just considered as a liar and a sneak. I personally encounter more negativism about Obama than any president in my whole life travelling around. It seemed you just said you were an American and oh boy they just had to comment about Obama. This was even sitting in airports without people knowing who I was or what I did. Just mention you were American and it seemed like they had to mention Obama. He has definitely destroyed the image of the USA more than any president in my lifetime. The polls showing he is the worst president since 1945 among Americans is taking the headlines everywhere.

Surely, as with Germany a private deal was most likely made…now the UK can stay afloat many more months to keep the ponzi scheme going of “leasing out” gold to China while making western bank gold speculators rich on the short side, manipulating prices lower at their will; allowing this financial ponzi scheme of money printing to go on. Maybe I will be wrong, but from the info. we all listen to that’s what I expect to see.

An overlooked element in the immigration debate is the nation’s Immigration Court system, where many of the newly arrived migrants will have their cases resolved.

Here are key facts about the court system :

OVERFLOWING CASELOAD : The number of immigrants with cases before the immigration courts has jumped 7 percent since October, 2013 to more than 375,000 (April 2014), the agency’s highest caseload to date. The number of cases before the immigration courts rose by 23,000 during the previous fiscal year.

WAIT TIMES : The average time a pending case has been before the immigration courts is now 587 days, which is about 19 months; according to the Transactional Records Access Clearinghouse at Syracuse University. Immigration lawyers say getting a hearing can take much longer than that. For example, in Los Angeles, the average time a case has been before the immigration court is more than two years, data show. (i.e. Over 3.5 years for a decision)

COURT LOCATIONS : The country has 59 immigration courts overseen by the U.S. Department of Justice. Some are inside detention centers, while others deal with immigrants who are not detained. The states with the biggest immigration caseloads are California, New York and Texas. None of the “minors” are detained more than 72 hours. Since they are undocumented anyone up toabout 25 years old can claim to be 17, without any challenge.

DEPORTATION VERSUS RELIEF : Immigration judges decided more than 140,000 initial cases during the 2013 fiscal year, which doesn’t include cases reopened or returned on appeal. More than two-thirds of the immigrants were ordered deported, while about 17 percent qualified for relief. Four years earlier, about 82 percent of the initial cases decided by the courts ended in deportation, according to agency statistics.

NATIONALITIES : The top five countries of origin of immigrants with initial cases decided by the court during the 2013 fiscal year were Mexico, Guatemala, El Salvador, Honduras and China, according to the Justice Department’s Executive Office for Immigration Review.
