As long as someone doesn’t starts firing cruise missiles…..or something equally as stoopid…thinking this week is pretty much another throw away week —likely the last one for 2013.

I dumped by conventional stocks again and put the money into more NEM on the dips as gold will head to the 1525 area like a magnet.

It looks like GDX wants to go above $34 this week. Whether it does or not, I think it will drift back below $29 by about Sept. 13. Then we’ll see a big, lasting move higher.

We have lift off. 1400+ after a small correction to retest 1400 to 1390 area and general markets down. Glad I took my profits before they vanished. Look for more strength this evening in Asia.
