The big banks are buying up America

August 26, 2013

An article posted on Seeking Alpha (titled “The leverage Buyout of America”) caught my attention by focusing on how banks are able to use their excess deposits, the excess of deposits over loans, as collateral for borrowing in the repo market. The author claims these banks are buying up airports, toll roads, ports, and many other “essential lifelines of the economy”. I realize this is another big bank story however I believe we should be aware of the tactics banks are using now to grow into the scary territory of too big to fail.

Interesting article. One has to wonder why this is occuring? I don’t pretend to know but some of the reasons may stem from the consipiratorial, as in the Fed made me do it, to the mundane, as in the shareholders want me do it. Either way, it cannot bode well for the banking system.

Oh my you`ve used Bird`s big no no word conspiratorial, conspiracy, though collusion by definition, a secret agreement between two or more persons for deceitful or fraudulent purpose. It means virtually the same thing as if these big banks twist and turn like snakes in the grass says anything that we already know any different. LIBOR, remember that scandal, yet its still on going to this day. Yet if any of us were involved in that scope of wrong doing we would be in jail for a hundred years, but the banks have diplomatic immunity from any prosecution. Why it bets me, perhaps they own justice too, like they own everything else. We who think we have liberty, only have it as an illusion not a right. Its like a frog in a frying pan with water ever so increased slowly, the frog not knowing any thing is wrong till its been turned into dinner in the end. The American people have been lulled into believing they were free only to find that they were food for the gods.

Interesting comment Dennis. I think I follow your point, that is we are told to believe that the banking system is honest and the big banks are held to the same standards as all citizens. The problem is they are not and there is nothing we can do about it. We are also told we need these banks when the truth is if they keep doing what they are doing they will need us or we will all go down together.

        Sorry if I have misinterpreted…

The biggest banks own the Fed, so the Fed doesn’t make them do anything. Why is this occurring? For full-spectrum dominance; control.

Thanks for the comment Chino. I agree with the fact that it does not bode well for the banking system. The banks are out to make/control money and it sounds like they are finding ways to leverage the cash they are sitting on to buy up the basic services in our economy.

Though I`ve known for a long time the banks have been doing this is no shock, well what do you think the FED has been buying for years now. Why the FED has bribed the other banks NOT to lend to the mom & pop businesses or allow people to refinance their homes, because the Rothschilds want to own the United States and make its people their slaves, just like the good ole days prior to 1775. The FED wants people here in the states to fail, become homeless, become slaves.

For all American’s sake I hope you are wrong about the slave part Dennis. It is a scary thought.
