Defiance Silver – An Introduction To Their Three Silver-Gold-Copper Exploration And Development Projects
Doug Cavey, VP of Corporate Development at Defiance Silver (TSX.V:DEF – OTCQX:DNCVF), joins us to introduce this Mexico-based silver, gold, and copper exploration & development company actively engaged in advancing two major Projects: including the Zacatecas silver projects in Zacatecas, and the Tepal copper-gold project in Michoacan, Mexico.
We start off with having Doug review the historic 20,000 meters of drilling at the San Acacio Project, focused over the historic Veta Grande vein system. We then review the historic exploration and recent 3,000 meters drilled at the Lucita Project along the Palenque silver structure, as well as the on-strike extension of the Panuco deposit. There is some exciting work going on at the adjacent land by Zacatecas Silver that will be instructive for Definance Silver’s approach.
Next we pivot over to the Tepal copper-gold project, which has a current NI 43-101 resource that contains 1.8 million ounces of gold and 813 million pounds of copper, and the work that will be need to advance the next economic study with the goal of optimizing a plan that could have this be a 100,000 ounce per annum producing project eventually, utilizing both heap leach and traditional flotation methods. Tepal will also be seeing some exploration work in 2022 to continue growing the resources.
We wrap up with a review of the management team, Company financials, share structure, key stakeholders, and the key news milestones on tap for 2022.

I agree, it moves like it has some kind of leverage to silver or something.
Yep, Defiance can have some outsized moves like many of the Silver & Gold junior explorers and developers, and has the Copper exposure as well through the Tepal project. Their silver/gold Zacatecas projects are in one of the most prolific PM trends in Mexico, so at any point they could also tap into the motherlode like what Fresnillo abd Mag Silver have found nearby.
Thanks Ex, for the great interview. If these guys needed a few 10s of millions of dollars I’m sure they could easily tap the market as they have a strong shareholder base and lots of potential.

Much appreciated Dan. Yeah, this is a much stronger company now financially and as far as the management team, than it was prior to the reboot in 2019. Luckily they are cashed up at present, but if they go out and make some big discoveries at any of their properties and hit paydirt, then I could see them using that kind of an event to raise more capital and get even more intense with the exploration work.
Another stock idea; American Manganese, AMY.
That’s one I’ve followed from a distance as a play in the specialty metals and battery metals space, and also if memory serves as of those plays extracting metals from other companies leftover solutions.
