Silvercrest investor Relations( IR) is a 3rd world banana republic operation. Neither Schwab, Fidelity nor TD Ameritrade are receiving/ Releasing any company news releases pertinent to their drilling/outlook operations. I’ve contacted CEO, President & IR TO NO AVAIL.
Shhh Marty. They’ve been working to keep things secret… that gives us more time to accumulate in this sideways action. 😉
All joking aside, I’ve never had any trouble getting Silvercrest’s news on trading platforms (including some you mentioned above) or financial sites like Yahoo Finance.
Honestly these days I just use Ceo.ca for 90% of newsflow as they are the fastest I’ve seen, and the programmers there are scraping data from almost every major and minor newswire service.

What I’m trying to convey, most stockowners rely on their brokerage accounts to keep them updated on current news releases. Unfortunately, IR/ management doesn’t care for releases to be received by the services that brokerages rely upon. Ie. PR Newswire, Globe newswire
Understood, the brokerage accounts I’ve been looking at did have the Silvercrest news featured prominently, as did most finance sites, and mining sites, so I’m not sure why you aren’t seeing the news updates, and don’t feel Silvercrest’s IR is a “3rd world banana republic operation” as you stated.
Any serious investor in Silvercrest would be signed up for their emails on news releases or go to their website, and wouldn’t just rely on their brokerage accounts to get the news (even though most did have the news).

“On the sidelines of the Mines and Money Online Connect virtual mining conference, Randy Smallwood, president and CEO of Wheaton Precious Metals, said that now is silver’s time to shine. It is only a matter of time before the metal follows in gold’s footsteps and hit record highs above $50 an ounce, he added.”

Anyone here know why ?
BTT is breaking out of a big two-year base. This is not anomalous at all and you should be happy about it if you own it.

Anyone know why?
It looks normal to me. It activated a bullish inverse H&S continuation pattern on Friday and bullishly close above the upward-pointing upper Bollinger Band. This week, it has simply (and bullishly) followed-through one would expect.

Defiance (DEF) (DNCVF) has a large drill program underway that has been highly anticipated and investors are buying in front of that and on the rising Silver prices. They also just further cashed up (which was a concern just 5 months back during the sector sell-off), so now things are full-steam ahead for their exploration campaign. I’ve been enjoying the run-up in price and look forward to seeing if they continue hitting paydirt.
> Defiance Commences Exploration at San Acacio Silver Project
20 Jul 2020
Chris Wright, Executive Chairman & CEO, commented: “In the past four months of remote work, and in conjunction with our previous exploration, our understanding of the underlying mineral systems at our Zacatecas projects has advanced and evolved considerably. Our geological model has defined a large number of targets outside of our main resource along the Veta Grande vein that we are preparing for drill testing. After receiving approval from the Federal Government of Mexico, we are excited to resume field operations at our Mexico projects with the safety of our team and the local community being the Company’s number one priority.”

I’m anticipating seeing some news back from this Defiance drill program soon (possibly by next week). You gotta be in it to win it.

(SVM) Silvercorp Metals boosts Ying mineral resource, adds 20 years to mine life
Sep. 1, 2020 – Seeking Alpha – By: Carl Surran
I’m really getting excited about the prospects of so many Silver companies over the next 1-2 years… (even though the markets aren’t really that explosive… yet).
There are so many solid Silver exploration-stage & development-stage companies with drill programs underway, in addition to the exploration/expansion work that the 20 producers are conducting. We are about to get flooded with drill news over the next 2-3 months, which should get things a bit more heated up in the sector.
One company I’ll definitely have my eye on is Silver Tiger (SLVR) (SLVTF). They may really be on to a monster deposit, so I’m interested to see what comes of their exploration program for the balance of the year.
They put out a little teaser just a few weeks back, and while narrow, it was bonanza high grade, and confirms previous work done that drilled out very high grade intercepts. Fingers crossed but thumbs are up.

This presser out from Vizsla the end of last week also shows that they continue to hit on their 3rd set of exploration results.

Good comments on Vizsla from @Goldfinger today, after the Angry Geo hit piece:
______________________________
@Goldfinger – “I believe it’s always good to get different opinions about a stock/company, and bearish views help bulls to do more DD and strengthen their thesis IMO. It’s worth noting that the Angry Geo post (BTW, I have enjoyed many of AG’s posts in the past including the ones about Garibaldi) derived much of its data from $VZLA releases and technical reports. I’d say that’s a good sign in terms of company disclosure.”
“The Panuco Project has not been systematically explored, it doesn’t have a geology map for the project or a coherent geological model, and only two of the veins on the property have been drilled. Silverstone only had access to half of the project and they did drill extensively at Clemens-El Muerto and La Colorada for those resources that we can all agree are relatively small. They probably would have loved to have access to the La Pipa, Rosarito, or La Bomba further north on Animas where the veins blow out to much wider oreshoots or Napoleon or Cordon del Oro that have never been drilled before Vizsla. ”
“There was also a mistake with the “missing holes”. Holes 03 (June 24) and 04 (July 8) are reported and are mineralized. Hole 06 wasn’t final at the time of the last press release as Vizsla prioritized 8,9 and 10 ahead of 6, as 6 was the remnant of a mined stope and the others are preserved veins.”
“These Mexican vein fields have a range of small and large ore shoots that make up a larger resource, a perfect example of that is San Dimas (First Majestic), which has produced over 11,000,000 ounces of gold and 580,000,000 ounces of silver.”
“Bull markets and bullish stocks climb a “wall of worry”, we wouldn’t want to have it any other way. Everyone is entitled to their opinions as I am to mine. I bought more this morning and I am biased as Vizsla is a sponsor and I hold a long position in the stock.”

Cory & Chris – Thanks for the updates on the El Picacho acquisition. I’m excited to see the drilling results at Las Chispas as well as all the other veins on their property they’ve yet to explore. It’s nice to see a team continually executing and looking forward to the success to come. Ever Upward!
