Introducing A New Guest Erik Wetterling, The Hedgeless Horseman
I am very happy to introduce a new guest to the show Erik Wetterling, Founder of The Hedgeless Horseman. I have been following Erik’s blog for a while and I really appreciate his straightforward nature of analyzing companies. In this interview we discuss the main factors he looks for in possible investment and some of the stocks he likes right now.

Erik also is sharing his notes for the call. Click here to get a full rundown.
Good interview. Authentic. That is always the most important thing.
The gold stocks (GDX/GDXJ) reversed after filling last week’s gaps while the silver stocks (SIL/SILJ) have bullishly avoided filling their gaps (bullishly because silver stocks almost always fall more than gold stocks when the sector turns bearish).
Although volume was well below average, GDXJ’s perfect bull hammer might be signalling an end to the pullback…

The SLV:GLD action is supportive of a turn up…

Great guest. I have followed the HH for years.
Great to hear the Hedgeless Horseman on the KER today, and happy he also mentioned other pals Nick the Mining Book Guy and Jay Fi Fighter as other blogs that influenced him and got him more intrigued with the miners. We’ve have had some good chats over at ceo.ca the few years and they are a great group of up and coming investors in the resource sector.
Eirk is about as well-informed as anyone I’ve come across regarding Novo Resources, and his other mining picks and selections are always worth reviewing at his website.
Keep up the great work and cheers mate!
HH’s exposure to stocks is not as experienced as some on this blog…..jmo
Started in 2015…after university …..not discrediting, just has to prove himself….to me.
Understood. We’re all learning one day at a time and he is newer to the sector this metals cycle.
It should be noted that 2015/early 2016 is when a wave of new investors entered the resource sector, and sometimes it is nice to get perspectives from the next wave of investors with fresh eyes. Consequently, they also may not be as opinionated (or dare I say jaded) from decades of following the markets like some of us on here. 😉
Personally, I’ve had a number of private and public chats with HH, and have followed his blog and research posts and value his insights, thoughts, critiques, and he has proven himself to me.
For example: The reason I got into Northern Empire for their ride up, where they were eventually taken over by Coeur was due to his research.
Cheers!
I think I know who The Hedgeless Horseman is, LOL! DT
