I’m actually glad we took this dive this morning…..that drip, drip, drip was getting to me. 1280 looks like a great place to camp for a couple nights before moving on up. JMO
http://news.goldseek.com/GoldSeek/1534345839.php This is an article from Frank Holmes on Contrarians.
Are there any Contrarians out there? Anyone care to discuss where they would deploy some extra funds were there any left in one’s account? It could be the best buy of the decade. Just sayin’.
+1
Very glad to finally get this dive!
I’m glad as well but I did not expect it to be this wide spread. Everything: lithium, oil, gold, copper, just every metal it seems like. Sad I didn’t keep more cash on the sidelines for this. So many discounts on so many great names.
Even uranium stocks are getting hit… even though the commodity is hitting up near new highs.
MUX looks tempting here.
Thanks for the thought Charles. It’s already one of my biggest holdings although when we get through this storm I believe it will be one of the better performers. I did pick up some more ISVLF this morning……..JAG is another interesting issue this morning. Somebody dumped 100,000 shares (Get me out). $0.14 is real tempting. Good luck.
Silverdollar – I was watching that selloff in JAG today as well, because I still have a nice position in it. They are doing all the right activity to lower costs and increase production in their various operating mines, and I’ll definitely be adding to my JAG position during this sell down. What a crazy valuation some of these mining stocks are at after the last few days sell downs.
I listened to the MUX earnings call. Rob McEwen is an amazing leader for that company. Insane to see it drop 6% in a day. I agree with silver dollar, but I also think it will be one of the first movers in this sector.
The only equity in the green that I have today is Auryn Resources. I’m not sure what it means for a resource stock to be green on a day like today.
Impact Silver did a U-turn. Up 5% on heavy volume.
“Heavy” is obviously a relative term for a micro cap. More appropriate would have been significant or above average.
Platinum …….at a 30 yr low……..gold / platinum ratio ….not seen in years at 1.54…
$768……what a number
Discount investors will be having a field day sometime within the next week or two. No other word to discribe this than “irrational”.
No sarcasm, I would love to hear an explanation from a short trader that is still short here. What is their thesis for why metals should go this low… especially copper, platinum…
Silver dump…..$14.45….down 62 cents…….really getting cheap……but, I said all last year people should read …..silver stealers .net….Historically silver stinks, and has been a political football for hundreds of years…..just saying…..It is HISTORY…… 🙂
Bix Weir out with some great comments, on silver……..replay of 08…..banks could be in trouble according to him………

Cyprus , Greece, …..Turkey…….who is next………
Papua New Guinea? South Africa? Argentina?
You forgot Venezuela.
Ankara has given a green light to Moscow’s proposal to switch to ruble-lira trade between the countries. Turkey also has similar plans for trade with China and other countries.
@RT
Countries are getting tired of the U.S. using their currency as a weapon, starting to sound more and more like a world reserve change.
I was kind of thinking Europe , when I was mentioning names………
and the Banksters having their way with the countries they want to rob…….
some things dont change, but ya know were it leads to…….
